Dirt Dirt Nap Nap is the double dry-hopped version of our 8.8% DIPA Dirt Nap. A crazy amount of Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Nelson went into this double dry-hopped monster of a DIPA.

Poured from 16 oz. can into a shaker glass. It pours a murky, muddy orange with a half finger of creamy, bright white head and soapy lacing. It has a sweet, malty nose with notes of lemon and grapefruit. But the taste! It's grapefruit-forward but with subtle berry and stone fruit, which become more prominent as it warms a bit. The Citra-Mosaic combo is great! Behind the citrus the Mosaic adds earthy notes of pine and herbs. The Nelson is understated (which I like). There's just a hint of white wine. And the Galaxy adds clean bitterness throughout. No astringency. The mouth feel is stellar, as well: Luxuriously thick and creamy with pleasant carbonation. And it drinks much too easily for 8.8% ABV. Overall, I really like it. Welcome to NJ, Veil!

Canned 8/2023 (1 month ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to deep golden orange color with a moderate white head. SRM of 9-10. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, dank berries and melon. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus up front, some berries and melon in the middle. Somewhat dank. Then some citrus zest with a bite off the end. Sweet but finishes clean with a bite. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier your body, strong carbonation and yeast. Hides the alcohol well. Dank and resinous , but with a citrus and zesty bite to clean off the palate. (4.00)
Compared to Imprint Sunkissed 9/2023: Pours darker, milder head. Milder aromas. More dank berries and melon. Less grapefruit, white grape, vinous notes. Heavier and sweeter.
Compared to Drekker Benevolent Intentions 9/2023: Pours darker, milder aromas. More sweet tangerine, ripe pineapple and pine. Less grapefruit, bubblegum, tropical kiwi and berries. Sweeter and more of a bite. Winner: Drekker
Overall: Dank on the aroma and flavor. A bit bigger at 8.8%, but drinks respectably clean and hides the alcohol well. The hop flavors don't explode of this one, but the mouthfeel is very nice. It's pretty good, but too sweet and heavy. (Rating: 3.85)

16oz can dated 11/4/22.
Pours cloudy gold with a two inch head of white. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Pineapple, peach, mango white grape in the nose. Medium bodied with a sticky, tacky mouthfeel. Candied mango, peach, pineapple, orange, and grape on the palate. Finishes with minimal malt, a balancing bitterness and lingering tropicals.
