A hazy Orange Juice color with a creamy but short-lived head of 1/2 finger.
Aroma is not very strong, but I'm getting pulpy orange juice, lemon peel, honey, and peeled oranges.
Flavor is bitter resin, orange Hi-C, pulpy orange, pine needle, honey biscuit, tart lemon juice, and grapefruit. The initial flavor when ice cold was extremely bitter and boozy, but as it's warmed up it has taken on a smoother character, more fruity - less intrusive.
Feel is crisp and resiny, just how I like it.
Overall, a very good DIPA, another fantastic offering from Virginia's Veil Brewing Co.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with minimal head and lace. The aroma is almost sour as the tartness is strong with a bit of acidity (orange). Beer is medium-bodied and easy to drink even though a tad thicker than most DIPAs, goes down smooth (not really a yeast presence, though) and has an acidic (orange) hop taste with hint of sweetness.
