Received as an extra in a trade.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice murky berry juice tinged gold, almost like grapefruit juice, with a thick two finger head that fades extremely slowly to leave a thin blanket.

S - Aromas of nice creamy wheat, very very faint lemon, nice bready/doughy yeast. Flashes of berry notes, light tartness, like seedy pomegranate.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Big doughy yeast notes up front, little bit of wheat, faint lemon tartness, nice salt aspect. The fruit aspect is quite subtle or at the very least overpowered by the base gose. Little lingering red berry tartness on the finish.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, finish is a bit flemmy.

O - Overall this was a rather disappointing beer. Was excited for the addition of pomegranate juice but it really didn't translate well. Quite unfortunate.

Pours an unlear reddish orange, with very little head.

Smell is tart and a bit earthy, with notes of pomegranate, lime and gooseberries.

Taste is just the right amount of tart, with nice notes of pomegranate, lime and gooseberries and a hint of salt in the finish.

Mouthfeel is thin, with prickly carbonation.

Overall, another nice Gose, which is a style The Veil doesn't get enough credit for. They make em good...

Whoa. This beer looks like pink grapefruit juice with pulp, with a fuzzy light pink ring of carbonation around the edge.

Smell is salty cracker, seaweed, Colby and a hint grapefruit candy.

On the tongue, Never Letgo is nicely tart and refreshing, clean and expressive, with flavors of pomegranate, toasted seeds, sea salt, and again a hint of peanut. Where is that coming from in these Veil beers?

The body is moderate with a light and bouncy froth, finishing semi-dry and velvety.

Look is berry juice with a small amount of off-white head. Fades quickly.
Smell of faint and it is hard to pick stuff out. I am getting subtle hints of lemon and berry.
Taste is tart and salty with a berry and lemon flavor.
Feel is refreshing and salty, with a light feel.
Overall I was not getting any pomegranate flavor, but it was definitely a nice gose that would be good on a hot day.

On draft. Served in a goblet glass. Pours a slightly hazy, lighter yellow body with a slight pinkish hue to it, one finger white head, fair retention with no lacing. Smell is a fair bit of wheat germ, light lemon, bit of lactic acid, touch of pomegranate juice, although I'd probably have identified it as more of a tart raspberry had I not known what the fruit addition was. Touch of umami. Flavour is fairly straight-forward gose, tart wheat, bit of lemon, touch of salt, however the pomegranate isn't particularly strong here. It mostly shows up towards the end in a subdued fashion. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, appropriately carbonated, slightly dry and mildly tart with a touch of pomegranate and lemon on the finish. I was hoping for a bigger pomegranate presence, though this gose is quite well constructed and flavourful on its own.
