Notes: whitemiata is the 6% IPA version of our beloved Citra/Galaxy DIPA whiteferrari. The luxuriously soft mouthfeel and beautiful integration of two of our fave hops all together in a more crushable ABV.

On tap, pours a very hazy orange. Nice head and lacing. Smell is a Citra bomb: catty, dank and fruity. Taste follows. Feel is bigger than the ABV. Fantastic beer.

The beer pours a strong white head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a pale but bright straw yellow. The smell and taste have a light to moderate bitter orange hop note with a decent sweet pale malt note of light honey. The body is light and smooth with a dry finish to it.

On tap at Churchkey in Washington DC

Hops: Citra, Galaxy

Delcious, soft, refreshing. A near perfect beer for the style and ABV. Beers always taste better at Churchkey when served at the proper temperature.

Poured a light orange body with great head and lace. Aroma is mostly light, acidic orange with something akin to tropical fruits/grapefruit as well. Smooth, light, crisp, orange acidic hops mingle with a flavor I can only describe as pineapple juice (crisp, acidic yet sweet). The finish is slightly mouthpuckering tart, more tartness/acidity than expected, but still has great hop profile and sweetness to balance.

16 FL. OZ. can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours a murky, dark orange color and is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.

The smell is some citrus but mostly juicy tropical fruit aromas.

The taste is tropical fruit with grapefruit. It has mild bitterness in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel

This is a damn tasty beverage.

Received as an extra in a trade. Canned on 3/08/17

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a really hazy milkshake golden hue with a big creamy two finger head that fades slowly to leave lots and lots of lacing.

S - Aromas of light citrus peel, oranges, green hops, little bit of crackery malt. Slight bitterness, maybe a little bit of papaya.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, really light citrus peel and orange notes. Decent amount of 'green' hops, some light candied orange, little bit of bubblegum and pineapple/papaya going on. Next to no bitterness on the finish.

M - Mouthfeel is super lowly/lightly carbonated, almost creamy, feels heavy on the tongue. Gotta be some oats in this.

O - Overall this was a solid IPA. Excellent appearance but I wasn't really a fan of just how heavy this was in the mouth for the style. Even the big New England IPAS have some fluffiness to the body/carb. Still though, this is a very tasty comparison.
