Very small beer, nothing to catch. The bottle does not look bad, but that's all positive things come to an end. Taste, smell are all very weak !!!!!!!

Bottle 22.02.16. Typical aroma of weizen - banana, cloves. Golden coloured beer, hazy. Three fingered white head, disappers very fast, poor lacing. In taste - banana with yeast. Little sour aftertaste with slightly hoppy accents, quite nice. Soft carbonation, thin body feels little watery. Nice beer but nothing special.

Got a load of beer from a Czech website without really knowing what they were....
Made a bad error by pouring this wheat beer into a straight pilsner mug. Oops.

A) Very cloudy light orange colour, very big fluffy white head similar to German hefeweizens. No sign of the brown yeast that you get in German hefes.

S) Light clove / banana / ester odour as per typical Hefes, e.g., Franziskaner. Can't be faulted here.

T) Good - the typical spritzy clovey banana-ery weisse beer flavours, slightly on the mellow side, with hints of honey and apricots.

M) Possibly not quite as fizzy as some others as the style, otherwise right there. Refreshing with no nasty aftertastes, just a nice lingering yeasty flavour.

O) Solid weisse bier, this is as good as most German versions and cost me less than £2, so cheaper. I hear it is about 30p a bottle in Czech Republic!! Recommended to fans of the style.

Very classic hefeweizen with all it’s specific characteristics: unfiltered, hazy golden color, floral aromas, wheat and banana taste. Feels very nice on the palate: creamy but also very refreshing. Overall this was a very nice hefeweizen, much better than many German ones.

Brought home fresh from my recent trip to the Czech Republic.
Pours cloudy, pale orange-brown body that appears like black tea with milk added, topped by almost instantly dissipating head unusually thin and short-lived for a Hefeweizen. Banana is the dominant aroma, complemented by pronounced malted wheat sweetness and subdued clove. The somewhat sweet, bananaish flavor is predominantly bready and doughy. Towards the finish emerges citric tartness due to the suspended yeast, and slight hop bitterness. Light-medium bodied and fluffy on the palate.A decent Czech approach to the style, however, the beer's appearance was disappointing. (500 ml, freshness date 27. September 2011, into tulip.)

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and poured with a two finger high white head. A light amount of carbonation is visible.
S: There are light aromas of wheat in the nose.
T: The taste is dominated by flavors of wheat malts along with some hints of cloves.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
D: The beer is quite refreshing and goes down very easily. It's a good selection for a hot summer day.
