A: Pours a hazed golden/orange. Plenty of cloudiness here. In the Kapuziner Hefe glass, a towering white head forms with excellent retention and lace. This looks amazing.
S: Spicy, peppery, clove aromas. Husky wheat, with a bit of sweetness. Baked bread. Very nice.
T: This is excellent. A great peppery, spicy clove flavor. Husky wheat, sweetness, fresh backed bread. Even a bit of tart lemon and orange rind. I love it.
M/D: A medium body that is very effervescent. So crisp, clean and refreshing. After the initial sweetness, this finishes on the dry side. So easy and enjoyable to drink. This is something I can drink all day.

Instantly one of my favorite Hefeweizens. Pretty much perfect for the style, and so enjoyable. Highly recommended.

500 mL bottle poured into weizen, three finger head

Light amber brown in color, moderate carbonation

Smells of banana and clove

Taste: Banana, clove, bubblegum, with a balanced, smooth finish

Mouthfeel: Smooth and refreshing!

Overall, this is a solid beer. I'd have it again. Frankly, I'm tempted to buy the mini keg.

This is an exceptional example of the style, and its worth your time if you are interested in exploring the wonderful world of weissbier. Or perhaps, you just have a hankerin for a Hefeweizen!

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a sniffer. Purchased at nikkis liquors in north providence ri:

A: pours a slightly hazy amber with a huge white head that leaves no lacing

T : give Belgian spices. Cloves and wheat, unripe bananas. Delicious and traditional.

M- medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Good.

I liked this one. Traditional Belgian wheat beer. Pick it up it you can.
