Poured out a light yellow color. White head about 2 inches big flowed up but was very bubbly and went down.

Smell was nice. Deep malty aroma. Sugary sweetness too.

taste is nice. Malty with a hoppy finish. Just a bit of spice to it.

Mouthfeel is full. nice. heavy on the palate. I thought a little low on the carbonation, but not bad.

Overall the i would say this is a quite drinkable beer. Nothing to hoot and holler about, but is one that you can rely on when you are not looking for anything special.

Poured from a 5L mini-keg into a pils glass. Clear yellow color, abundant carbonation, and a frothy bright white head and copious lacing.
Clean aroma of sweet malt and pungent herbal hops counterpoint. Nice sweet grain flavor up front which morphed into an herbal spiciness. Hops flavors resonate on the tongue long after each pull is gone. Faint tinge of metal lurking in the finish but not something that was a real problem. Crisp, light-bodied feel.
This German pils was a great quaffer; it went down smoothly and was very refreshing on a warm late-fall day. A worthy brew to bring to a tail-gate party. Recommended.

Kulmbacher Premium Pils came in an unfrosted mug with the head of foam at about two fingers. A bright clear amber with streams of carbonation in an never ending supply welling up from the bottom of my stein.

Nose was a crisp clean barley malt with just a hint of hops bitter. Palate was a clean crisp toasted barley malt, bittered just right with the hops, followed by the bight of carbonation.

Kulmbacher Premium Pils was a very refreshing Pils, one that I will be looking for in the future. After a few steins, the taste was just as fresh as the first stein, and this is hard to beat.

Had this one from a bottle that was a couple of months after it's best before date.

Nonetheless I decided to try it since I had it stored in fairly good conditions for months.

Has a yellow color, white head and some lacing.

Smells of malts, grains and even hops emerge from my pilsener glass.

The carbonation makes this one a bit fizzy, but not overwhelming. Maltiness is more preponderant, with a dry and bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is way crisp, even astringent.

Hope I had some more last night when temperatures were still high.

¡Salud!

Poured in to my pilsner glass a dull golden with a nice big, fluffy white head with a nice bead.Aromas of toasted grain a touch of iron with an odd and interesting teaf leaf-like aroma thats subtle but noticable. This is one dry ass pilsner and very crisp, a light spicey/peppery bite hits in the finish very firm dry bready malt backbone stands up to the very dry, spicy finish.Damn fine pilsner my father in law from Hanover,Germany loved it as did I.

A drinkable crisp drink. Floral hops. A touch of creamy head. Nice subtle bitterness to it. Smooth, with spice on tongue. Malty finish, went well with dinner. Light to Medium mouthfeel. Good carbonation, Good summer beer, good German pils. A good find.

The beer pours a very pale yellow color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a dry and skunky pale malt scent with some adjuncts and lager yeast aroma. The taste is decent as well. It has a crisp, clean pale malt flavor with a dry finish. It has little malt character, but it drinks well. The mouthfeel is good. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a good pilsner, but I prefer one with a little more malt content and a deeper gold color. As far as Euro brews are concerned, this is one of the best on the market.

Poured straw yellow with a big (vigorous pour), fine, whit head. A little minty in the nose. Pils malt lingers in the background. Light bready malt and slightly peppery, herbaceous hops. This is one gorgeous beer. Mouthfeel is damn perfect for a pils. I wish it was a little bit cheaper of a six pack, though.

Appearence: Pours a golden, straw color with a huge fomay white head. Leaves sheets of lacing. The carbonation is huge, but it moves so slowly it looks the beer is dusty.

Smell: Smell's crisp, clean, and fresh, with huge clove and fruit hints. A great smelling pilsener.

Taste and Mouthfeel: Tastes indcreibly complex for a pilsener. The most interesting tasting pils I've had to date, without sacrficing any crispness. Fruits and cloves and almost pepper are tasted. Feels smooth and crisp in the mouth.

Drinkability and Overall: This is a classic beer. I was lucky enough to find this, and I will hunt it down again. A challengly complex beer that may be harsh to the young palate. But to me, this beer is just about perfect. I'm gonna go kill the keg by myself (just kidding.. but I wish I could). Superb brew.

Comes in a German standard brown half-liter bottle with foil around the neck and a silver and white label featuring the brewery's coat of arms. Purity law applies. Best before 1/14/05, I opened it on 6/5/04.

Pours a crystal clear gold under a two finger snow white head with lots of bubbles. The head settles slowly, leaving good lacing. There's a full good strong malt and crisp hops nose that doesn't wait for you to sniff it, but rather reaches out to you from quite a distance. The mouth is very prickly and fairly light. The taste opens with good sweet barley serving as an appropriate complement to a strong pilsner hoppy bite. The hops linger long after the liquid is gone, even making a wonderful resurgence of bitterness some 30 seconds later. This is a crisp thirst-quencher that simultaneously inspires even greater thirst. Good summer session beer.
