Pours a cloudy brown color. Remains cloudy even after its had time to settle. Thin off white head dissipates leaving no residual head but sticky tan lacing is left along the glass.

Smell is rather bready with some nutty malts, a hint of spice, and some lager yeast. Simple but good.

Taste is somewhat bready with some roasted nut notes. Spicy finish with some grassy floral notes. Surprisingly complex flavor for a rather simple beer.

Feel is thick and almost chewy. Mild carbonation. Smooth and somewhat dry finish.

This is really a nice kellerbier - surprisingly complex given its simplicity. Ill definitely revisit this one in the future.

Hazy amber colour, with a normal head that fades leaving a good lace. Aroma is weak, I only detect some grains and caramel. Medium body, correct carbonaton. Taste of caramel and fruits. Correct beer, but nothing special.

Dark, golden in color. Little to no head. Grain sweetness and some bitterness. Wheat. Short finish. Lower end for carb. Clean and crisp. Pretty good.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a slightly dark amber, with a tight foamy head, and a good amount of lacing.

Smells like faint grassy hops, and doughy, and slightly gummy, malt.

This is much more faint, and honestly bland than I would've hoped. There just doesn't feel like much to it. It's watery, with faint grassy hops, and a slight malt backbone. It's puzzling how little to this there is.

It's certainly drinkable, though, easy to put down, and refreshing. The carbonation level is normal.

I just wish there was more to this, though. There are better domestic and imported kellerbiers on the market.
