Imbibed via bomber.
Appearance: A sturdy, not entirely fleeting, head floating atop a peach glow surprisingly dim and warm considering other kolsch beers whose acquaintance I have met. Lacing was also substantial given the subgenre.
Smell: After an initial muted, uninspiring light generic malt scent, faint esters began to emerge. These delicate hints soon manifested into somewhat more substantial wisps of honey and unassuming candy.
Taste: Lemon tartness greeted me at the gate, which was unexpected given the light floral, sugar scents. However, once traversing deeper, an earthy leather band extended its greetings before dissipating into a lingering farewell of coarse honey. In brief, it was a visit that began with a light slap which all too quickly ended in simple sweetness.
Feel: Muted prickly carbonation and a dry finish without any cloying aftertaste.
Overall: A recommended somersault of tart grapefruit rinds and rustic honey resting in a warm glow.
