Been here a couple of times so far. They have 30 taps of which 29 are "craft" beer options. Nothing to terribly exciting but excellent for this town. Hollywood Roadhouse in New Germany will have a much more interesting tap selection. The owner does like himself some Castle Danger which I have not seen on-tap in this area before. Also they have Waconia Brewing, Enki, and Excelsior on. I am sure as other local breweries get established and distribute those will be available as well. One very disappointing thing about the beer is that everything gets served in a shaker pint glass. Everything. They do have Spieglau IPA glasses but I was told they break too easily so they don't get used. Beer prices I think are $5-$6 a pint. They have a few nitro taps depending on the drinkers feelings about that type of serving. The bar has about 8 seats. Around a dozen tables and several booths inside, and 8 tables outside at two different levels. The upper level is a nice place to sit and have a nice view of town. Unfortunately the lake is obscured.

Service can be hit or miss. The owners are usually there and make sure the guests get attention but some of the servers just are not very good. A pet peeve of mine takes place here. The servers congregate at one end of the bar, chit-chatting and socializing with each other and creating a bottleneck for themselves. Just does not feel comfortable sitting at the bar. There is plenty of staff, maybe overstaffed.

The food is very good but also very expensive and they are not exactly generous with the portions. Example, it is $6 for three stuffed Jalapenos. The smoked meat is good but $13 for about a 1/3 pound of smoked pork with cole slaw and a small side is ridiculous. Spend $13 at any other BBQ joint and you will walk out full or stuffed, but no chance of overeating here. The pizza is a little better value and also very good just as long as you do not order a la carte. Wait time for food can range from 10 minutes for apps to 30 minutes for pizza and does not seem to matter if they are busy or not. It is a small, focused menu so hopefully as they get experience, patrons will not have to wait too long for their food.

The food and beer quality is there but poor value. People I have talked to say it is too expensive to put this place in a regular eating rotation. More once a month type of stop. And does not have the feeling of stopping by and having a few beers with the buds after work. Not a meeting place which is odd for a place that has 30 taps. Should of put more thought into the bar space. So after the newness wears off they might be in trouble. They have not updated their website since they have opened.

Relatively small space, slightly cramped but comfy. Lots of wood and beer memorabilia, especially tap handles.
Great beers and great food.
Service was excellent. I was never without a beer.
Selection is top notch. Some 35 beers on tap, most from Minnesota and some quite hard to find. During my visit it included great stuff from Junkyard, Barrel Theory, Bad Habit, Toppling Goliath, etc.
Food was top notch.
This place is great!

This place is undoubtedly a hidden gem in a town that is lacking options. The venue is very small with outdoor/indoor seating on a patio and patio seating on a roof. They have a room available for private events and infrequently hold tap takeovers. They have thirty craft beers on tap, many of them are really highly regarded. Beers such as Darkness and Cassian Sunset have been known to sit on the menu for a couple weeks. Expect any major beer release in the area to hit their menu at some point. Also expect a reasonable pour size and price. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and have very loyal and friendly frequenters. The food is barbecue and pub style. They recently purchased a new smoker from the South and their head chef is really trying to hone in on smoking their meats. They have great pizzas as well that are made from scratch. Pricing is very reasonable. If you really do enjoy beer and are looking for a good meal while in the Southwest suburbs, look for this place on Main St in Waconia.

Not a fan of this place. Decent tap list with a nice variety but a few things annoyed me. No prices on the tap list. Also, my gf ordered the macaroni without bacon and they brought it with bacon. She can't eat bacon and we tried to pick it off but it still had bacon flavor from the grease. We sent it back. The new place was nearly half the size. Won't be coming back.
