Overall wasn't a huge fan of this one. Lots of different spices to it and light sour lactose. Not infected but not great; wouldn't seek it out again..

a very nice example of the style, more robust on the malt side than a lot of these are, but thats always what seems to be missing. i was a big fan of this. wheaty on the base, more substantial than we are used to, fuller bodied but also a little bit gritty and sweet, i think these can tend to run thin, so a more rounded fuller version is a great boost for the style i think. the saltiness here is very balanced with the sour, one no more than the other, and neither too aggressive. moderate acidity but very clean for just front end lacto souring. lemony and puckery enough, with a nice high mineral and body enhancing saltiness thats just right. sometimes its not the one who screams the loudest that deserves the most attention, the subtle nature of this at times, just being really good without being super different, is one of its best features. awesome carbonation and drier in the finish, especially for all the malt character up front. these guys continue to impress me and to fly somewhat under the radar in a lot of craft circles. this is textbook.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy amber color but the head is not well stacked and quickly fades to a ringlet; a bit of splashy lacing hangs around
Smell: Wheat bread, coriander and lactic green apple tones
Taste: Lactic green apple forward, with the coriander and salt arriving in the middle; somewhat vinous and briny through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat puckery
Overall: Not a bad stab at the style at all

by Bitterbill from Wyoming
Hazy orange gold colour, lively head of foam that doesn't stick around long.
Coriander and fruity tartness in the smell. I almost pull out a grape like aroma.
Fruity tartness and Coriander dominate the taste, salt is very underwhelming. Light bodied with light carbonation.
This is a nice effort of the style.

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Rich golden body on pour, small airy head. Not ad salty as some, lacto smooths out the rough edges and offers a nice creamy texture. Nice soft herbal aroma, taste a bit more tart, hint of saltiness on the finish.
