This is a great tasting beer...hazy, great smell, flavorful but not crazy. I live in NJ and have never heard of this brewery or this beer - a road trip is already in the works to get some for my fridge. If you like IPAs and have a chance to try this beer, do so, you won't be disappointed.

OK, the deal is, this is a great, great beer. F**k, CA, f**k NE, come to Jersey (if you're tough enough). Have a Taylor pork roll sandwich, drive the turnpike, visit Seaside Heights, go out on a party boat and go to Conclave Brewing. None of this CA 4:20 BS. Kick back, enjoy a GREAT brew (with friends) and know what a good time really means...NJ style!

This beer is the Coup de grâce of all beers! A cloudy orange/yellow pour, smells of sweet fruits & tastes sweet while lacking the traditional bitterness of an IPA. If it is on tap at Conclave, give it a try. It gives top rated beers in the world a run for their money.

Grolwer filled 1 day prior poured into a beacher glass.
L: Pours a murky, hazy orange with a finger and a half of foamy white head with some mild lacing left around the glass.
S: Incredible juicy notes of mango, guava, and pineapple. Some Floral, pine bready notes as well.
T: Juicy mango, pineapple, grapefruit and other citrus fruits with a creamy, smooth bitter pineyness on the finish. The bitterness lingers on the tounge.
F: Medium carbonation with a nice full, creamy mouthfeel.
O: Amazing IPA, so much juicy flavor with a nice hop bite in the finish.

Loved the juicy smooth taste of this citrus forward IPA. It was very good.

Had a bad can and a local generously sent me a new, fresh can to compare. World of difference. I didn't take notes in real time - late night and just wanted to chill with a beer - but the new example was far superior. Hazed orange. Not murky or gravy toned or textured, though - still recognizable as a beer. Maybe hewing a bit more towards deep orange which hinted at the heavier and sweeter malt you get in the middle and finish. A bit of forest herbaceousness (pine and such) but primarily driven by a sweet citrus. Marmalade comes to mind for both flavor and the texture. Still a bit sweet for my liking; I generally prefer a drier finish. But this is good and hope to try more from them down the line.
BAD CAN: Sewage water color. Absence of any aroma. Wet cardboard with sweetness shot throughout. I'm guessing it's an off can but based on reading some tasting notes it looks like consistency is an issue. Would like to revisit and re-rate.
