4 pack of 12 fl oz pull-tab cans nabbed at A's Wine & Spirits, Bartlesville, Oklahoma for $13.77 USD plus tax.
"Imperial stout with coffee." 11% ABV. Coffee is Guatamela origin.
The coffee character is a bit earthier and nuttier than would be ideal, but it has a dry roasty coffee character too that I do dig. The base beer tastes more like a brown ale to me, eschewing the sweeter malts/chocolate malts in favor of milder dark malts...or maybe it's just the fantastically dialed in attenuation giving the impression of a perfect level of sweetness.
Depth of flavour could be better; this doesn't have the richness I'd expect in a coffee beer from, say, Founders.
Scintillae of hazelnut and maybe malted milk balls. I don't taste any overt hop flavour.
Drinkable and balanced with nice roasty characteristics and a well disguised ABV, FDR is a solid imperial stout even if it isn't quite top tier. I don't know that it earns its ~$3.50/can pricetag, but it's a worthwhile brew to pick up at least once and I'd regard it as amongst the better beers from Oklahoma I've had in my 2+ months living in the state.

Pours dark black in color. Thin head that vanished quickly. The smell is of bourbon and some chocolate. The taste is sweet with some coffee roast in the finish along with some spicy bourbon barrel finish. The feel is a little on the thin side. Overall it’s a solid brew, definitely worth checking out.

EFF THE DAMN RULES! I am told that is what "FDR" stands for, and this beer is the perfect example of that. I have voiced my love for the guys at 405 before and I think they are doing great things and have dedication for their craft. I loved this beer. It was super viscous and thick with creamy mouthfeel and good carbonation. The flavor was a bit different from a traditional imperial stout. I got notes of chocolate and burnt sugar like most, but the balance is what sets this beer apart. The flavor is so complex and you experience different adjuncts as the beer warms. Chocolate, vanilla, caramel, burnt sugar, coffee, etc.

Look: Pours a dark dark brown with a beautiful khaki head. Plenty of size to the head too.
Smell: coffee dominates initially, with whiffs of cocoa as well.
Taste: coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, almost a little smoke too. Really good stuff
Feel: medium to medium full mouthfeel, dry and well carbonated
Overall: I received this in a trade and am very impressed. The adjuncts work well in this beer.

Chocolaty, silky, mild coffee flavor, huge 2-3 inch head that dissipates after 2-3 minutes, 11% ABV but I cannot tell. Possibly one of the best coffee stouts I've had!

Pours an effervescent ebony with 3+ fingers of caramel colored head; sheets of lacing very good head retention
S: Coffee, cocoa
T: Coffee, a little chocolate & vanilla up front. Lovely mocha flavor as this warms, a little dryness, a little roasty coffee. Finishes with vanilla, a little coffee ground, mocha & dryness
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
Drinks pretty easy for the ABV, easily the best I've had from these guys, keep this up! A very good example of the style
