Poured on draft into a pint glass. Deep copper/amber color and full off white head. The immediate smell is of malt and hops with a slight hint of sweet fruit. The head stuck around all the way down the glass leaving a web of lacing. The flavor was hoppy on the front with only a tinge of malt and fruit. The hop aroma prepared me for more full bitterness but I suppose, that is just because I was expecting a west coast double but this one was a little more tame. Good beer all the way through with nice mouth feel and full finish.
