Technically, I think this is Steampunk, one word, instead of Steam Punk. But I may be splitting hairs. Noble Rey has some of the coolest, if not most disconcerting, can designs on the market right now. Some pretty good beers too.

Pours an amber brown color with a nice two-finger head. Good lace. Maybe my nose is stuffed up because of the season, but I just couldn't get much out of this aroma. Malty, yeasty, earthy. Distant fruit, but nothing discernible. Not uncommon for the style, I suppose, but nothing remarkable. The taste follows suit, with earthy, herbal notes, but also does enough to establish itself as a presence rather than a backdrop. Roasted malts, buttery toast and a burned marshmallow sweetness preside. Faint apple and pear and other autumnal fruits. Not bad. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry but smooth.

I like this beer. I don't drink a lot of steam beers, but I would suggest that this one holds up well for the style. This is my second beer from Noble Rey and the second beer from them that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Cheers.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint glass. Clear light brown with a short lived head and decent lacing subdued earthy smell. The taste is crisp and bitter, very pleasant. Overall, a good beer..

Hazy deep amber colour. Smells like pink grapefruit, and a little bitter. Heavier mouth feel, bitter grapefruit pith and toasted grains, not much else.

Appearance is brown, no lace, no head, smell is very subtle sweet grain, taste is more of the same, mouthfeel is nice and drinkable, overall pretty standard lager, nothing to write home about, had from can in large snifter.

Pours a clear reddish orange color with ivory colored head. Caramel malts, bread, and some toast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes pretty smooth and clean.
