Different IPA. It's no Furious, but a decent beer from MN.

Meh. My wife brought this home after tasting it at the liquor store. I've never had an IPA that tasted quite like this before. Pours amber and clear with an okay head and some lacing later. Smells mostly of a strange, unidenfiable malt w/ some pine mixed in. Tastes the same. Body is about what I'd expect for an IPA, but overall I didn't care for this one at all. Maybe it'll grow on me (five more cans to go) but I doubt it.

I hoped this would be good, as they have many rave reviews over on FB and they are from MN. However I know FB reviews aren't always meaningful - it's pretty easy to get some of your friends to give 5 star reviews to your shiny new brewery (who else would describe the owners as "hardworking people" ?). On to the beer:
A - Not really pale at all. Looks like a dark amber ale. 1" off white head that recedes with about 4 minutes in the glass.
S - Strange sweet fruity and piney notes. Pick one or the other, not both of them.
T - Halfway decent, but there is still a weird fruitiness/sweetness that does not work in this beer. Maybe this can is several months old? Very, very sweet.
M - Good carb levels, very thick on the tongue.
O - Not a drain pour but not awesome either. Edit: 2nd can was a bit better - drink this cold to make it not horrible.

Light brown color, with a fairly large white head.
Smells of citrus, hops, and subtle malts.
The taste is something else entirely. Has an artificial sweetness to it, alongside notes of fermented fruit. Really despicable taste. Close to a drain-pour.
I wanted to like this, as it's a local brewery. But this really did not work for me.

This beer pours a clear red color. There is no head whatsoever. The aroma is danm with a unappealing sweetness. The taste is similar. This beer is grossly underattenuated, and undrinkable.

L: Pours brilliant copper amber with a 2” off white foam cap that takes 2 minutes to descend to ¼ its original height.
S: Fresh piny citrus, light malt.
T: Citrus, spice, light fruit, malt flavors, bread crumbs. Starts sweet and gradually dries out. A medium bitterness balances the malt resulting in a well balanced beer. Malt, hop flavors and bitterness are all medium.
F: Medium body and carbonation.
O: A beer with a tasty blend of citrus and malt.

Excessive oxidation present. Little IPA aroma, with a prevailing sweet sense. Overwhelming cardboard and sweet sherry notes dominated the palate, with a harsh, almost solvent aftertaste. I hate to admit, but a drain pour.
Brilliant clarity gave hope, but a disaster from the first taste. Hopefully this is a one off problem, not a sign of their product. I heard Ftown has zero commercial experience, and it shows.
