Smooth Sleeman Honey Brown Lager is brewed in the tradition of cottage breweries at the turn of the century. Some might think the tradition is outdated; we just think we got it right the first time.

Clear amber with a medium but fizzy head. Sweet honey & corn nose. Sweet, light body. High, high carbonation. Not a fan.

Very simple and straight forward. There isn't much depth but it isn't offensive. Not overly sweet but very clear honey flavor. The smell is almost nonexistent but represent the malt profile clearly. Boring and without any hint of hops. The taste is distinctly honey, but otherwise indistinct from other cheap brown ales. The mouthfeel is, in my opinion, the most disappointing. I feel as though i am drinking a cream soda, not a beer. The cream soda analogy extends to the appearance as well.
