A crisp, refreshing lager, light in body and texture with a smooth finish and no after taste. Brewed with a 4.0% abv level, the brand appeals to those who enjoy a lighter bodied, highly drinkable beer.

This has always been a very good beer, too many people get it mixed up with another beer thats not the same quality, because of the name.

355ml can - don't know how I've missed this one for so long, but another leftover from the remainder bin at my local Liquor Barn/Depot/Emporium, or whatever. Much better (ok, sexier) label than what I see here.

This beer pours a crystal clear, very pale yellow straw colour, with three fingers of thinly puffy, fizzy, and soapy dirty white head, which wafts away rather quickly, leaving nothing more than some very remote islet lace around the glass.

It smells of a weak bready pale malt and corn grist sweetness, the ghost of fruity esters that just sinned too much, and surprisingly faint skanky, weedy, um 'hops'. The taste is more innocuous grainy malt, 'bolstered' by a soupy corniness, of the metallic Kellogg's variety, and just some vegetal pithiness and hard water stoniness to quickly round out this tyro-esque offering.

The carbonation is pretty sedate, not wanting to mess up an already so somna-rific offering, the body light in weight, sure, but even lighter in its purported smoothness. It finishes off-dry, I guess, the blase graininess not really having to do any extra credit work, now, does it?

Nothing really off, nothing really on offer, either, so this about hits the style bang-on, I'd say. Something to drink when you want to appear to be drinking, but really aren't. Or perhaps you're swayed by the old-school charm of the cans - which is just a different sort of stupid in my books.

MACRO SMACK DOWN.

Ed Hardy's beer vs. OM Light.

Old Milwaukee has gotten rid of its OM can design, which I think was intended to make it more immediately appealing to fratboys, aping the cartoonish, sans serif aesthetics of Natty Ice. Thank god they changed it. This logo is actually decent.

The beer itself pours as pale as sunbleached straw but there's a decent head on it.

Smells very light of cereal adjunct with a little bit of fruit esters in the back--can't tell if the fruit is intentional or from age, but it's actually a welcome addition. Not much going on in the aroma, then, and what's there is pretty pale, but nothing's off.

Tastes... the same. A bit more flavorful than Bud or Coors light, a bit less flavorful than Miller's Lite. No hops whatsoever, but a fairly decent grain and malt complexity keeps things a very tiny bit interesting.

Overall, nothing bad. For the style, pretty decent. Since the Ed Hardy beer tasted like runoff from a plastic factory, this won the smackdown by a landslide.

This is such a turd compared to Old Mil that I don't even know where to start. Nevermind that, I do, magnify the sweetness by a couple powers of ten. Then take the scent, and imagine that your regular Old Mil has been sat in the sun for a few hours...it will compare fairly accurately. The one thing it has going is that this terribleness is watered down. I have to admit that I quite enjoy Old Mil heavy, but this crap is a travesty by comparison.

Poured into traditional pint glass.

Color is a light straw yellow. I can see straight through this beer. Pours 1 finger of fizzy head that doesn't last more than a few seconds. No lace at all.

Aroma: Typical adjunct flavors of corn and grain with a low level of hops.

Taste: Same as the aroma but with a metallic taste. Nothing I am very fond of.

Mouthfeel: Very crisp with a high amount of carbonation. I bet you would have never guessed that this beer is light bodied. Ends with a somewhat dry aftertaste.

Overall, another typical light adjunct lager. Not something I would want to drink on a regular basis, but something for a college party I guess. Light means it is drinkable, but not enjoyable in this case.

Out of a 16oz can this beer was a pale golden yellow color with a thin white head. Poor retention and no lacing. The aroma was stale and generic with a little pale malt sweetness and lots of corn. The flavors were a little better and actually rather well-pronounced for a macro-light beer. But did it still suck? Yes, yes there was suckage. Dry macro grains and pale malt with a corn and mineral-water like background. The mouthfeel was average/rough, the carbonation high and the body light. Total percent suck? 78%

Basically, this is Milwaukee's Best in a different can. Same yellow pour with a big white head. Same veggie and corn aroma mixed with sugar and B.O. Same flaccid taste of corn, grain, and mineral water. This is the exact reason I hate the 250+ minumum on this site to talk about the same beer.

Very clear pale yellow color. Almost feels and tastes like drinking a glass of water. Well, half water and half cheap swill. It is however very easy drinking and not the nasty aftertaste I was expecting. Of course there doesn't seem to be much in there to give off any sort of aftertaste. I may actually prefer Naty Light over this.

Pours a fairly bright straw yellow with a thin bubbly head that is small and short lived pretty wimpy looking stuff, the can on the other hand is quite nice looking,it looks nothing like the display picture. This can looks like what I would imagine my Grandpa drank back in the day,a plain white and blue can with simple lettering and gold trim and a banner around the rim that reads "Americas Best Tasting Beer" WoW.This smells faintly sweet and a little like freshly peeled potatoes, not much really going on in the nose. This tastes a little grassy upfront with thin malts and some lingering sweetness, nothing offensive or off tasting, really decent stuff for hot days and heavy drinking. The body is thin but has a little more substance than a BMC light brew.I was'nt expecting much and I was'nt dissapointed either.Oh yeah did I mention this was $4.19 for a 12pack,you get what you pay for!

After all the critiscism about Canadian beers in general lately, I decided to review this one. Picked up a single for the sale price of 25cents. The lady said something about them not getting distributed here anymore.

Anyways, onto the review. Pours a fizzy yellow, with a small white head.
Smell is actually quite strong, a blast of medicinal malts, along with hops. Grapes as well. Taste is strong of malts, along with grapes, and slight hoppiness. Semi-bitter, semi-clean, semi-astringent. Overall the things that are kind of odd in this beer is the grapes, where the hell did those come from? As well as the medicinal astringencys, they are not bad, but definitely there. This beer is not offensive, but leaves me wanting more. A lot more.

A decent Light Lager. There are lots of worse Light beers, and Lagers out there. This one is just alright.

Had this at a cheap person's grad party. Actually reviewed it, can't believe it.

Poured into a pint glass for literaly no head, smells of fusel alcohol and fumes of acid like aroma. Taste is simply awful, no hop or malt, just straight alcohol, it's clean, but rank.

Obviously a beer for drinking in mass quantities and nothing else, but it's so bad I'm not sure why you would want to do such a thing. If you do there are other cheap beers that at least are drinkable.
