Crystal clear straw color with a beautiful white head. Aroma has grains, a bit of honey but also some alcohol notes. Taste is slightly sweet at first, with bread and honey notes and gets more balanced in the finish but I don't get any hops. Decent.

Reutberger Export Hell has a thick, white, spongy head, a mostly clear, gold-straw, bubbly appearance, and fairly heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet and pungent barley malt, with a slight touch of smoke. Taste is of sweet malt, soda cracker, barley, and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is medium, and Reutberger Export Hell finishes crisp and highly drinkable.

Poured from the bottle into a pilsner style glass.
A deep golden brass yellow body but with a bit of hazy and cloudy character off the pour. Head forms bleach white and quite tall at about 3 fingers. Minimal rising carbonation and some speckled lacing with some soapy retention.
Good clean smelling lager, with a hint of mild herbal hop spicy qualities. Some hinting light malts but fairly quiet and somewhat toned down.
Palate comes wit a good malt coating. Slight hints of thick honey but without cloying stickiness. Some noticeable malt like sweetness in the mid palate with a touch of buttery diacetyl sensing flavors. Finish has a little less hop presence than the nose hints at with a little bitter medicinal flavors on the swallow. Thick. Malt is missing a bit of the classic baked bread character that I am looking for.
Overall though an easily passable German lager but nothing that makes me want to come back to purchase this again.
