At the brewery in a snifter glass.
Dark brown color with a thin layer of head.
Head dissipates quickly to a thin ring around the glass.
Aroma has some good whiskey notes.
Taste has obviously whiskey but very balanced. I am picking up dark cherry. Finish is smooth with no bitterness, I like it.
Medium body. A nice beer!

This is an excellent beer! Named after a goat and brewed for the Cincinnati Bock Fest warm, rich, comforting. I hope to get more someday.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Dark brown color with a good head and curtain lacing. Smell and taste of sweet caramel apples. Warm cinnamon toast, nutmeg. Slightly boozy from the whiskey barrel but not overwhelming. I would love to have this one on tap someday!
