An open space with clear views of the brewing floor. Stools at the tasting bar and several high tops. There's also a special room that can be closed off for private events or opened to spread out. Ten or so tables with chairs. Lots of board games available. No food, but many menus from local restaurants that deliver.
Exciting and colorful graffiti-style art on the walls.
Servers are very knowledgable and fun.
Beer is fresh and delicious with multiple styles and more coming. I have enjoyed several that marinated away in different oak barrels (whiskey, rum, and wine).

Nice brewpub with room to relax. Several tables to sit and eat/drink at. Fair selection of beers. I really enjoyed the Wise Fool IPA. Miskatonic has one of the coolest Brewery logos I've ever seen. I need to get back and grab some merch and a few beers.

If ever stuck in traffic on I-55, get off on cass Ave. and hit the miskatonic brewery. Small, comfortable, board game friendly brewery, with a friendly, knowledgable staff. If Mary Poppins has a growler, she got it at miskatonic.

Small brewery with tap room, can hold maybe 30-40 people at the bar and room. This place is fairly new and it's in your typical industrial condo space, but they did a nice job with the design.
Some interesting selections on tap but overall, nothing too wild. I will say that they have more then most in the area and not all are your popular styles. Prices are a bit on the high side at $6 average and they don't accept cash.
The staff is very friendly and if it's slow, they'll just sit and talk with you.

Pretty new brewery that just popped up in another suburb of Chicago, surprise (sarcasm). The brewery itself was alright but felt like a lot of other "cookie cutter" places I've been. Nice high ceilings and open space in the back, but not a ton of room for patrons at the bar or dining area.
It was a lazy Saturday afternoon, so nothing too crazy was going on. Pretty laid back crowd. It was pretty hot in their with the exception of a fan blowing air around. Wish they had a better way to move air throughout the place to cool it down a bit.
The staff was very friendly, but the beers weren't overly impressive. They had 6 lines on and nothing that was too over whelming. Their Chapter 1 farmhouse was probably the best of the group, but didn't have anything that made me need to go back and visit again. Stay away from their Prodigal Son porter, was not a fan at all.

Nice bright interior, nice bar, and party room, parking might be a little of a challenge on busy days, but not more than other brewery of that size with a tap room. Owner and Head brewer are nice, so is staff. They will grow, trust me, their first ales are decent. No food served at location but like many other I believe you can bring your own food and their might be food truck nearby. Give them a try.
