I expected to be smacked in the face it the mango (because of the name, I guess), but it was an effervescent, refreshing drink with appropriate (but not overdone) fruitiness. Lots of small bubbles, which I really like. Very enjoyable.

Another from my Father’s Day pick six.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Clear yellow color with a nice head and curtain curtain. Smell and taste of citrus and mango, more on the taste than the smell. Good feel and overall not too bad.

slightly hazy gold body pours with a chalk colored champagne head that sits at about half a finger and has moderate retention. there is occasional thin sudsy lacing as it settles to a murky cap with an inconsistent halo

aroma is mango, grassy hop, thin sweet malt, and a little booze.

taste is tart with grassy hop throughout, a thin crisp sweetness shade of mango, pineapple juice, and orange (peel and all) bitterness.

mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, lighter body that has carbo and booze prickles throughout and finishes dry and mildly bittersweet. it's crisp, and a little boozy but never too harsh. it's assertive

it's a mango forward grassy IPA. it's assertive with the crispy boozy feel in it's front and back, but it remains a solid session choice if the keywords "mango; tropical; grass; crisp" strike an interest to you. for me it was middle of the road, but it does stick out in a way still. certainly makes the mouth water for more

12 oz can enjoyed at Poolside at Hotel Emma (SATX). Smooth and very drinkable tropical IPA. Mango and Orange Julius open before grassier hops, hints of grainy malt and just enough bitterness round out the beer profile. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, and smooth feel. Balanced and full flavored while being extremely drinkable and refreshing.

L-Pours a see through golden in color beer with a lacy head and a bubble filled body.
S-Light mango, sweet hop, and some grassy hop. Tropical aromas come through as well. A bit of booze at the end.
T-Light, bitter, almost tart, fruity, mango is there. Nothing crazy, highly drinkable. I respect how easy it is to drink.
F-Light bodied.
O-Highly drinkable. Nothing crazy, though. It has a light mango flavor and some bitter and grassy hop. Easy drinking IPA for a summer day by the pool.

Very smooth and drinkable. If you don't want to be overpowered by any one thing or the other (bitterness or fruitiness, etc.), this is the one. Perfect for hot weather, like in Austin, Texas at 5:10 pm on a Labor Day weekend, 2019 at 98 degrees and 32% humidity.

Pours an effervescent gold with 3 fingers of pearl colored head. Sheets of lacing and above average head retention

S: Some mango, a little grassyness and honey

T: Tangerine, a little mango dryness and a little sour orange up front. Mango picks up as this warms. Finishes dry with a little lime and just a little more mango sweetness

MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation, good balance

Solid offering, drinks fairly easy

Fairly plain gold normal lager color. Good lacing though. Smell is little sweet with faint fruitiness. Taste is cidery with a bit of melon. Does have a nice smooth feel. This is very light on the smell, hoppines, and bitter to be classified as an IPA. I think it would be good on a hot day or by the pool.

Appearance: Hazy golden yellow glass hold a quarter finger of bright white foam. The head is a little smaller than expected for an IPA, but it's a solid cover.

Aroma: Tropical fruit indeed, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, some fresh cut grass, lots of hop driven smells.

Taste: Fruity hop notes are well supported and don't go crazy bitter. A slight white bread yeast and cracker base are clean and a bit grainy. The hops go a bit tea like as it warms with a mild earthy note.

Mouthfeel: Medium light, almost light body is throwing me off. Medium carbonation comes across as fizzy given the light body. Oily texture in the finish.

Overall: I've never had a beer suffer so much in mouthfeel, it's odd. At first I thought the taste was underwhelming, but that's actually fine, it just feels light and unsubstantial. I want some heft in my IPAs. What malt is here is well used, perhaps over-attenuated? A rare issue and has to make the bottom line look nice. With the flavor being a big gorilla the total package comes across as a winner.

Smells fruity and floral.
Light amber color and full head that dissipates quickly.

Tastes like avocado and Doritos. But who doesn’t like guacamole and chips?? Would recommend to someone that likes complex IPAs.
