Poured from a bottle into a snifter glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super dark brown, nearly black color with a one finger head of tan colored foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a chocolate smell mixed with aromas of vanilla and caramel as well as a nice milky aroma. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a roasted coffee smell as well as some notes cinnamon. Very sweet and delicious smelling.
Taste – The taste begins with a very sweet with a ton of a milk chocolate flavor mixed with a moderate bit of roast and a touch of coffee. Along with these flavors comes lots of vanilla and a brown sugar and some notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. As the taste advances it gets quite a bit sweeter and loses a bit of roast and coffee. At the same time the chocolate gets stronger and the spice also increases. In the end one is left with a nice, very chocolatey taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly more chewy with a carbonation level that is rather low. For the milk chocolate and spice the feel is very good and makes for a nice creamy milk chocolate like taste.
Overall – A nice sweet milk chocolate stout with an easy drinking. Quite tasty!!

Pours black, a lot of leakage to mahogany on the edges, underneath a sudsy dark tan head. Nose is full tilt chocolate and some cinnamon, spicy peppers, and a subtle coffee note.
The chocolate is up front on the taste, as expected, and it’s delicious, but the peppers are allowed to shine, as is the coffee flavor. This is really well done, IMHO.

This is actually an imperial milk stout not a sweet stout. It is semi-sweet with a good mix of the Mexican Chocolate and Christmas spices- allspice, nutmeg. A little thin on the mouth feel would be my biggest criticism of the beer. Likewise the head pours thin, as well.
