IMHO, M-43 is one of the best NEIPAs in the market. Pours a hazy yellow color with
a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste of grapefruit. Good mouth feel. A nice amount of bitterness. DDH M-43 is just a little but smoother than regular M-43.

Poured from tap at Lucky Dog in Beulah, Michigan. Milky orange/amber color with thick foam head. Wonderful citrus aroma with grapefruit and orange notes. Tastes fruity and smooth, without an overpowering hops flavor. Delicious summer IPA.

I have not signed into beer advocate in a long while. When I saw this rating I was dismayed. This is a 5 star beer, through and through. I've been through 4 four packs over a 6 month period and everyone has been as good as the last. Bitter, but not too filling, somewhat sweet, but very drinkable and smells amazing to boot. Buy this beer, you won't be disappointed.

On tap at Rocky Top Beer BBQ. Pours a turbid yellowish orange with an inch of creamy head. Tons of lacing. Great sweet tropical and citrus fruit aroma. Pineapple, tangerine, orange, guava and peach. The taste is peach, pineapple, creamsicle, tangerine, guava, grapefruit and passionfruit. Meadium to heavy body with an oily mouthfeel and low carbonation. Mild alcohol burn. Great variation on a great beer.

Thanks to JodiB for this one. 16oz can (of course) poured into 14oz teku. Poured the expected murky, turbid orange of the style, with about 3/4 inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.

The aroma had more character than is typical for the style, with the popping nice. Still, no apparent malt, grain, or yeast aspects. Same on the tongue, but there was a nice level of bitterness that held my attention between sips, and helped finish a lot.

The body was the by-now expected light-medium of the style, but did have a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was good, this one of the few Murkbombs that actually kept me engaged throughout the can. Overall, one of the better of the style that I've had. Recommended if you get the chance.

L- just like must NEIPA’s. Orange & hazy
S- Tropical notes of Pineapple, Mango and Grapefruit. I gave it a 4 on smell because I was excepting a stronger aroma than the orginal M-43 since it’s a DDH Beer.....but it didn’t. A little disappointing.
T- The flavor backs the aromas....but also gave it a 4 because it really doesn’t taste much different than the orginal.
F- soft, pillowy mouth feel.

16 ounce prowler into tulip glass, filled on 11/17/2018. Pours opaquely hazy golden/amber/greenish color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an amazing NEIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Awesome soft feel. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with perfect wheat/oat/malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering resin dryness. A bit more bitter, dank, and earthy than the base; but was equally impressive all around. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example as expected.

A - Pours a murky golden orange with a thin white head. Light soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is orange, pineapple and resinous hops.

T - The taste is orange, pineapple, grapefruit rind and piney hops.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish.

O - A super tasty beer. The dry hopping cuts some of the juiciness adding a strong hoppy punch. Hoping they can this at some point.
