Taking America Back. Dark & delicious, America’s great milk stout will change your perception about what a stout can be. Pouring hard out of the bottle, Milk Stout Nitro cascades beautifully, building a tight, thick head like hard whipped cream. The aroma is of brown sugar and vanilla cream, with hints of roasted coffee. The pillowy head coats your upper lip and its creaminess entices your palate. Initial roasty, mocha flavors rise up, with slight hop & roast bitterness in the finish. The rest is pure bliss of milk chocolate fullness.

They call it America’s stout for a reason.

This beer reminds me strangely of my father; he was a lawyer and he used to wear these really nice suits... My mom would get them dry cleaned and we kept them nice, but he would drink martinis and smoke unfiltered Camels... There was this zestfully clean, silky and cottony freshness that was compounded by a cigar box tobacco and leather smell, like wisdom and mahogany and big leather bound lawyerly books, coffee with non-dairy creamer and a little bit of sugar.
This kinda reminds me of that, anyhoo; I'd drink it again.

Pours jet black with less than 1/4 in. tan head, as expected for a nitro stout. Head recedes to a thin film within a couple minutes. Classic milk stout taste and mouthfeel, but I have to strain to pick up any specific, identifiable flavors. Maybe some milk chocolate. I don’t get any bitterness. Medium body, no specific flavors on the back end. Overall, a solid milk stout, but nothing to rave about/ nothing remarkable.

12 oz bottles into a 12 oz glass.
L: Pours black and is pretty much like other nitro beers with cascading bubbles and an expanding firm & pillowy light tan head that has incredible retention. The head is like a lid. Thick lacing with heavy sheeting and rhythmic banding.
S: Toasted caramel malts, brown sugar, toffee, a hint of char.
T: Dark toasted sweet malts, mocha, a hint of toffee, very light chocolate, a hint of coffee very light vanilla.
F: Smooth and very creamy medium bodied feel with a medium length non-drying finish.
O: A lovely tasting and feeling Milk Stout. Very easy drinking, smooth, creamy and gently sweet. Great to the last drop. It is outstanding in its style.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Left Hand's Milk Stout Nitro is an old favorite of mine. Drinks smooth and easy. Creamy chocolate milk on the sweet side, with some coffee roast on the bitter side. Light and refreshing.

12oz bottle pours an extremely deep brown-black color with massive bubbles at first, but then an extremely dense, creamy tan-colored nitro head forms. The head reduces slightly, but largely sticks around while leaving chunky lacing. Smells faintly of roasted malts. Flavor has notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts with a hint of caramel, dark fruits, and burnt malt. Medium body with a smooth and creamy, but very watery feel like most packaged nitro beers. Slight sweetness and a small bitterness that trails into the aftertaste.
This was decent, but I heavily prefer the non-nitro version of this beer. The flavor, mouthfeel and body of the non-nitro version are just so much richer and better. Love nitro beers on tap but never had a nitro can/bottle that's very good.

A wonderful, modest ABV stout that goes down as easy as Belgian chocolate milk. It has a good, thick texture, and it's much less carbonated than Guinness Foreign Extra. For those who prefer the taste of stouts, it would be a great one to consume at a social event. You can likely down a handful before feeling a little drunk. When drinking alone, I don't know. I wouldn't personally choose it over Ten Fidy, Of Ancestry, Expedition Stout, or any of my higher ABV favorites.

On tap in a pilsner glass at centurion lounge Denver.
Jet black with the beautiful head you’d expect if you’ve ever seen a nitro beer.
Dry dark roast, chocolate Graham cracker chocolate caramel.
Espresso, cocoa powder, dry roast, and chocolate Graham cracker. It’s delicious and the dry roast balances wonderfully with the sweetness.
Super soft, almost too soft, with no perceived bubbles. Round, soft body.
I think I’ve had the CO2 carbonated version of this and thought it was good, but I reckon the nitro version is better.

Pours milk chocolate brown with little carbonation and a one finger head. Aroma is mildly roasted malt. Taste is smooth and lighter than expected. The nitro dispensing is obvious. Profile is smooth, roasted malt.

Absolutely incredible. Pours deep rich ebony with a fluffy off cream head. Instant aroma of roasted coffee beans and hops. Tastes of rich mocha, bitterness of dry stout and slight vanilla pod. Velvety feel, smooth down the gullet. Outstanding balance of sweetness and bitterness. Outrageously drinkable.
