This beer is fantastic. I admit, I love ginger in pretty much everything, but among the many ginger beers I've tried, this is probably my favorite so far. It's not too sweet and has a great balanced flavor. Because it's not too overwhelming, I could probably pound an entire six pack in one sitting.

Pours a nice deep golden color almost like honey in terms of color. Quite opaque with a small one finger head that fades quickly into nice lacing. The smell is light and somewhat floral with minor ginger notes. Tastes incredibly well-balanced between ginger, wheat, and hops. Nearly no hop bitterness at all and the ginger notes are present but not overpowering. The feel is slightly over carbonated for my personal preference but that didn't nor does it detract from the amazing qualities of this beer. Overall it's highly satisfying, low ABV and very refreshing. Not only would I have it again, I will have it again.

Tried this at Fifty Brews in Orlando and wow is this a nice surprise. The smell of the beer is classic ginger, and the taste is a clean ale with a hint of ginger. Its not bland in any respect but it is also very well balanced, No overpowering sweetness and no overpowering ginger. This beer is a hit and has become one of our favorite tailgating brews. Its a shame we can't get it year round as I would seek this out.

I admit, I'm a sucker for ginger... be it subtle or in your face. Good Juju has a nice touch of ginger but doesn't overpower you with it. You get a nice light aroma as well, which adds to the enjoyment. I'm an instant fan of this one.

Enjoyed in a pint glass
A: Aggressive pour yields two fingers of head with good retention. Hazy amber color. Only negative is the haze.
S: Ginger definitely strong in aroma with small hints of black pepper and tangerine.
T: The ginger is well mixed in between malt and hops. A little spiciness but far better than any chili beer I've had.
M: Ginger adds a certain lift and brightness to the beer. It also lends a spiciness that tingles a bit without bitterness - similar to hops.
D: It's also a session beer since I'm not sick of the ginger at all.

Pours a clear clean light amber almost straw colored with a white head that is pretty gorgeous looking.

Smells are sweetness with an upfront ginger character that reminds me of a plate of sushi with the pickled ginger.

Taste is a bitterness of hops and ginger that seem to ride in a wave of flavor together. The sweetness upfront is taken away quickly by the nice pairing of ginger spice and light hop character.

The mouthfeel and body are light and refreshing. A pleasant and pleasing beer all around.

Presentation: Poured into a tulip glass from a 12oz. bottle as pictured.

A: Very slight haze to a bright gold color. Nice bubbles and heavy thick head with moderate lacing.

S: Mainly herbal scents with mild spice aromas.

T&M: Real smooth, light bodied ale. Medium carbonation with a lot of up-front malt sweetness. Mild hop bitterness that fades slowly as the ginger takes over as time goes by. Nice spicy feel to the brew that backs the crisp finish of the beer.

Nice mild ale with a great taste.

A- Pours a Copper orange color with a 1 finger clean white head

S- Has hints of malts or ginger and spices. Has some piney/earthy and citrus notes as well

T- Has a nice sweet carmel beggining with some ginger in the middle and also getting some hops.

M-Light to medium bodied nice carbonation

D- Overall i liked this brew. Was expecting the ginger to overpower the brew. but it was very subtle and everything was blanced nicely. Would get this again

12oz bottle into pint glass.

One finger white head that settles to a razor thin cap. The hue is deep amber, bordering on copper.

Strong ginger aromas on top of a toasty grain base.

The ginger spice mixes very well with the malts that are well toasted, giving off a little caramel. It has a bit of a sweetness as well, giving it almost a ginger cereal flavor to it. Light bodied, high carbonation.

The flavor was a pleasant surprise in this one, as sometimes ginger beers can be a bit acerbic on the tongue. This one is done very well though. Recommended.

Amber, Darker than Saison au Miel, lighter than Sawtooth. Solid head of small bubbles, no lacing. Aroma of sourdough, ginger, spice. Palate of ginger, nutmeg, hay, pumpkin, caramel, toffee, wheat bread; finish of lightly sweet candies ginger. Pros I love ginger, sweetness is balanced (off dry). Cons of complexity. 87/100

This beer might be low in Alcohol, but not in taste. It has a wonderful summer drinking feel about it. It might be a little expensive and as far as I can find only in 4 packs but it is very good, especially if you like the flavor of ginger. And on a special note this beer should be the required drink with sushi, like red wine is with steak and such.

A: Pours pretty regularly. The beer is a light amber color with no lacing, and almost no head (a small white head faded as the beer warmed).

S: I enjoy having to search for smells, so this one is a nice reward. It reminds me of gingersnaps.

T: Wheat and Barley at the beginning, with the sting of ginger following close behind. A nice spicy aftertaste.

M: Overly carbonated for my palate, but it suits this brew well.

O: I think this beer is definitely a great summer brew and super refreshing. I won't be buying it all the time--and it's not my favorite--but I enjoyed it in full.

Quite a surprise! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Not too powerful on the ginger, nicely balanced. Faint smell of ginger and spice. Light and refreshing on the palate. Clean aftertaste. Bought this on a whim as a mixed 6er, wouldn't mind trying again, maybe while floating in the pool on a hot summers eve!

BBD 9/22/14. Clear amber pour that has just a touch of garnet with an acceptable head. Lacing and retention are typical for the style and fade away after a few minutes. The magnificent nose is of ginger over a biscuit background sweetness. Light medium body that is nice and smooth in texture. Above average carbonation with a strong burst of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is quite nice and focuses on ginger. It delivers the ginger at just the right level and balances it against a toasty slight biscuit sweetness. It finishes with a crisp effervescent burst of ginger and hop flavor over biscuit. An outstanding clean crisp use of ginger.

Pours nearly the same color as a Vernors Ginger Ale with a 1” cream colored foam cap that quickly dissipates. Big ginger nose and it is also prominent on the palate and brings a little ginger heat. Light malt flavors provide support. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

A - Orange pour with good clarity. No lacing of note. Foam retention is minimal. Some carbonation.

S - The smell of ginger dominates this beer. There is some scent of light grains but this is a ginger lover's dream.

T - Fresh taste of ginger gives this brew a one note flavor, but one that is done so well that it is a standout. Very refreshing flavor. The ginger root stays on your palate and gives a spicy and sweet taste throughout.

M - Awesome beer for the summer, and easily one that could attract a non craft drinker. If the carbonation were higher I might think they just poured me a Seagram's Ginger Ale. Light tasting beer.

O - People will either love or hate this based on their preference for the spice. I thought this was a really interesting beer that does one thing, and does it very well.

Ginger is one of my favorite flavors. This beer has a wonderful ginger taste, which is exactly what I would expect from a beer with this name. Further, there is a decent bitterness & a slight sweetness as well. I'm not a huge fan of spiced beers normally, but this one is really nice. Recommended.

I had this in a bomber over 3 years ago, and am ever-grateful to Chaz for providing a fresh 12 ounce sample for me to revisit the flavor...

Lightly hazed and orange-tinged, slim snow-white head...

Aroma: ginger hits right off the start, fresh and full, a delightful spice that I happily invite into my senses, well at play in this aroma...

Taste: Smooth, with some small hop bitterness, and the feel of ginger is still aflush in the jumps and jiggers in the mouth, and jostles with other tastes, orange, lemon, and lime...
Medium-bodied, with a long, spicy citric finish...
I'm a fan. Nicely done, Left Hand...I'm feeling higher than a lion in Zion...

L (4.25) - Much darker color than I was expecting, but clear. Bright fluffy white head.
S (4) - Not a lot of ginger aroma. A little bit of generic beer malty smell, but subtle all around.
T (4.25) - I barely taste the ginger. I was actually putting this one off, being worried about it. But the ginger was quite subtle. I almost get a honey and tea flavor profile. You can tell there's ginger in it, but I'm not going to call this ginger ale by any means!
F (4) - Good mouthfeel. Maybe a little light on the carb, but a nice easy drinking beer.
O (4) - As mentioned above, I was expecting more ginger flavor and was surprised. I don't mean that as an insult, as this beer was good. I'd buy this again for sure.

Single, twelve-ounce bottle copped from Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell...
Appearance: Tawny, ruddy hue with a decent-sized head that soon receded...
Smell: Peculiar, yet enticing aroma with hints of hops and ginger...
Taste: For a rather weak (4% ABV) beer, the taste was surprisingly very flavorful and good... Hints of ginger and hops abound... Truly a unique beer...
Decent mouthfeel with an all-around great level of drinkability...
Recommended if you're looking for something different...
