"Best by 9/29/16"; drank 6/17/16 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big eggshell head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.
Pine, grapefruit & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Pine needle & caramel flavors up front; grapefruit bite on the finish.
Certainly not my IPA profile, & not one I'll return to.

Yep, it's another IPA. Left Hand generally avoided IPAs for a long time, but they're certainly making a push in that department lately. This one's pretty generic, a bit high ABV for a traditional IPA, but if you like the style you'll like this offering. It doesn't have any particular dominant flavor, just a mix of grassy, floral, bitter and citrus, thanks to the hop blend. Nothing fancy, just your basic IPA.

A: crystal clear; copper in color; 2 finger ivory head that receded slowly to a thin cap; very nice lacing;
S: the first thing I smelled, which doesn't make sense, but was very distinct, was milk chocolate; when I came back to it a couple minutes later, it was oniony, herbaceous, earthy, and woody;
T: flavor changes as it goes - starts grassy, then earthy, then woody; finish is moderately bitter;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: interesting and complex;

A thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a beige/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of pine, citrus. Taste is equal parts citrus and pine, a strong malt backbone. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

I got this off the single shelf at Giant Eagle just down the street. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had citrus peel spice. The taste was bitter leaning with pine cone front and bitter fruit finish. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Extrovert - Left Hand
IPA - 7.1% abv
“Best by 4/23/18”
L - 1.5 finger head atop a translucent orange body.
S - pine, spruce. Some other spices. Citrus.
T - Tastes like whar kissing a tree would taste like. Pine-forward. Tree bark, a little citrus, some booze, a lot of sweetness.
F - medium-light body with medium carb.
O - a middling ipa. But I’d rather drink this than a pizza beer.
