Pours a yellow and gold color, substantial clarity, so fresh and so clean, 1" of white head on the top, good lacing, remnants stick on the non drinking side of the glass for the duration of the 12oz.

Aroma, pretty crisp, a little bit of sawdust in it at times. Assume that's the pilsner malt.

Floral hop taste, mild, spritzy carbonation, still smelling/tasting a mild sawdust component in this beer. Reminiscient of Mendocino's lager/pilsner beer. Higher ibu count than most pilsners. The bitterness seems to be a little to similar to a metallic bitterness moreso than one derived from beer ingredients. Noble hopped I suspect.

Mouthfeel tries to be dry and clean, but there is a musty sawdust clove lemon aspect of the aftertaste that just doesn't go away.

I dunno, this is really only a Left Hand offering that I think would be a repeat drink in the summer months, at best.

No date noted. Served very cold as recommended in a chilled pilsner glass. Excellent taste, extremely smooth and not over powering. Has the full body taste but a light feeling. Feels like you can drink quite a few without becoming bloated. Nice mid level alcholol content. A real winner. Will be stocking up on this one. The appearance gave no indication of how fine tasting this is which was a pleasant surprise.
Try this one folks.
