Appearance - Black and completely opaque. Small head which dissipated relatively quick on a moderately aggressive pour into a pint glass.

Aroma - Roasted malts and subtle coffee notes.

Mouthfeel - Unaggressive feel. Little bitterness and effervescence. Smooth.

Taste - Mild stout. Subtle lactose sweetness with roasted malt being the primary flavor. Lick your lips after a sip and you'll really taste the milk sugar.

Overall - Perfect entry into the world of stouts. Not aggressive. Very palatable. If you find many stouts too strong, this is the one for you. A very friendly beer.

A - Very dark, almost black with a cream colored one and a half finger head that sticks around, decent lacing.

S - Smells of roasted malt, chocolate and some milk.

T - Just like the smell, some roasted malt and chocolate flavors that lead to a nice sweet milk flavor. Great easy flavors to enjoy.

M - Light to medium body with a bit of thickness/creamy texture due to the milk, low carbonation..

O - A very nice beer that I would love to have again. Nothing mind blowing but very solid enjoyable flavors that are well balanced.
