Very thick and creamy taste but not too much. Almost a bitter taste but yet very sweet and enjoyable. Definitely a winter type stout that's good for the snowed in folk. I tried this out of a 6 pack in whidbey island, wa from the beer works. Highly recommend trying this stout if your a fan of thicker beers. Definitely one to try.

Pours almost black like a cola with a thick two finger tan head that lasts a while and after it dissipates a one finger head lasts throughout the entire drink. Huge amounts of lacing follow the beer down the glass as you drink. This beer is beautiful. It really is.

Wow. This beer smells great. Hints of chocolate and dark coffee on the nose. You can smell the alcohol when you take a big whiff but its very faint.

This beer tastes as good as it smells. Super smooth. Dark chocolate, creamy dark/roast coffee, a hint of dark fruits, and just enough bitterness on the finish to end it with a slight touch of alcohol.

Mouthfeel is creamy. Not extremely thick, though. Super smooth going down. It goes down so easy. If you wanted, you could chug an entire glass no problem. It's really that smooth.

Overall this is probably one of the, if not my favorite, beers I've had. Great taste and mouthfeel and way smooth to drink. Would definitely buy again and I plan on getting a 6 pack the next time I make my way to the package store that keeps it. Such an AWESOME beer.

Poured into a Nonic glass, poured directly upside down since it is nitro charged (no tilting at an angle with the glass). Head was about 1.25 fingers, chocolate milk colored. The beer was very dark in color, almost looked like a cola.

The smell was chocolatey and sweet with hints of coffee. Very attractive.

The taste was consistent with the smell. Great stout flavor with notes of chocolate and cream with coffee as the medium. Almost like a mocha minus the caffeine. The beer was very smooth. It was actually hard not to just drink the whole glass quickly, but I used discipline and allowed myself to savor it.

The mouthfeel was full bodied, creamy, and a just enough carbonation to feel good. Not too much, but not so little that it would go flat too quickly.

Overall, this is such a great stout. One of my absolute favorites.
