12oz can. Can bottom is stamped best by 08/20/2020.
Dark brown colored body, with mahogany brown and garnet back lit high lights. Two finger tan head with an aggressive pour. The head quickly settles back to a thin cap and ring. Leaves scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma of peanut butter, chocolate, and lactose. The peanut smell is authentic. Not sour or bitter.
Taste has more lactose than in the aroma, with supporting characters from the peanut and chocolate. The after taste does blend to more of a chocolate peanut mix. Lacks any real bitterness.
Medium mouth feel, with a smooth and somewhat creamy texture. Good carbonation.
I would like to drink this with slightly less lactose, with more emphasis on the peanut and chocolate, but this is good for what it is.

Pours a blunt jet black body with lighter highlights at the surface and iis topped with barely a half finger of creamy light khaki froth; head recedes quickly to a wispy veil capping the surface along with a thin, creamy ring and lightly layered spotty lacing.

Aroma offers strong roasted peanuts upfront, backed with a slight lactose/vanilla creaminess; very subtle underlying raspberry tones flow between roasty malt into a finish where more defined peanut butter notes hint at an appearance.

Taste profile muddles together slight notes of roasted peanut and a roasty acidity with even vaguer spent coffee grounds and cacao husk interspersed throughout, with a lactose creaminess spoiling into the somewhat chunky peanut finish.

Mouthfeel features a medium-light body developing a moderate thinness over time as the mild-moderate spritzy carbonation presents mostly at the front of the palate; the body flattens out noticeably over time, and is lifted only slightly by a minor roasty heft into the finish with a dry, semi-watery swallow.

Similar to DuClaw's Sweet Baby Jesus, this is a decent enough thinner-bodied dark beer with moderate roasted peanut tones that fail to satisfy its more peanut buttery advertising, leaving it more splintered and lacking cohesion; for me personally, it just doesn't cut it.

Best by 8/19/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; fluffy khaki head that falls leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of peanut butter leading the way. Lots of peanut shells as well. Hints of chocolate. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. More peanut butter coming through. Lots of salted peanut shells. The peanut shell aspects seem to actually shine. Some chocolate in the mix. Subtle hints of marshmallow. Low bitterness. It's not that sweet. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the fuller side of light-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a pretty nice peanut butter stout. It has a "peanuts at the ballpark" vibe going on. It's somewhat unique. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. I like it.

Poured hard as the base beer demands, this pours very dark brown, nearly black with a finger of rocky tan head that fades rather quickly and leaves lacing rings

Roasted peanut is up front in the nose, earthy and sweet chocolate malts, and a slight sweet/spicy wood note, very inviting, smells like a complex dessert

The sweet base beer dominates a bit more than I would have liked it too, as i tend to go through phases with the base beer (it can get sickening after a while), being it was one of my first craft brews. Anyhow, the peanut character comes through here in the back end of the sip backed by a subtle pecan note, and just a slight hop bite

Light to medium bodied for the style, this pours a little too still for my liking, especially considering the low abv. Almost no carbonation so to speak of

Well, I'm certainly happy that this variant exists, something exciting for Left Hand, I just wish the taste was a bit more peanut forward. And this would be elevated as a nitro like they do to the original

Poured from a can into a snifter glass, forming a couple fingers of tan head. Dark brown color. Smells primarily of peanut butter, with just a bit of chocolate. Taste is similar, primarily peanut butter with a bit of chocolate at the end. Similar to a peanut butter cup, but not identical. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Definitely a good chocolate peanut butter stout.

Pours dark with minimal head. Heavy peanut butter aroma. A lot of bold flavors in this one. Heavy chocolate malt. Big peanut butter finish. Worth a try.

Left Hand Peanut Butter Milk Stout has a medium, beige head, a very dark brown appearance, and minimal lacing. The aroma is of strong peanuts, cocoa, & dark malts. Flavor is similar, with cream and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium, and Left Hand Peanut Butter Milk Stout finishes just a tad sweet.

12 oz can poured into a pub-style pint glass.

Appearance
Near black. Short tan head dissipates immediately.

Nose
Peanut butter, milk chocolate, and Reese’s cup.

Taste
Reese's peanut butter and milk chocolate. Slight dark fruit flavors of raisin and prune, but it’s basically a Reese’s cup.

Mouthfeel
Light bodied, smooth, crisp, and lightly sweet.

Overall
It does what it set out to do.

12 oz can with a BB date stamp on the bottom of 22 August 2020.
Pours with a clear body but it is so dark as to be essentially opaque in the snifter.
Rich aroma featuring roasted peanuts with hulls. This is in no way unpleasant nor does it deter from the fine peanut flavor. Mildly bitter (but higher in the aftertaste) with a medium+ body and medium-light carbonation.
