Filtered wheat beer. Light gold color, medium white foamy head. Aroma is grainy and sweet. A light tasting wheat beer. Nice flavor, very banana and clove, somewhat lemony. Smooth. Some maltyness, kristal malts. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is neutral.

Very average from a real good brewer out in Colorado.Poured a yellow straw color with pretty good blooming head.Smell was somewhat irony to me,not to much fruit wich is much more appetizing.A liitel clove in the taste but like the others say in their reviews there is some sourness in it,I have never had that in any other of this style, that kinda turned me off to it a little. It has good texture and is nice and spritzy but that kinda sour taste makes me not want it again.

Hazed yellow-golden body with yeasty sediment strands. Not very "kristall". Head forms briefly following the pour, but disappeared before I could examine it.
Aroma of lime juice, clove and faint banana.
Sour lime off the bat in the mouth. A little clove, backed with some faint vanilla. Good so far...then comes the onslaught of off flavors. Strange toasted nut flavors mixed with rotten milk sourness. Reminds me of the "cement mixers" I used to make as a joke while bartending (Bailey's and Lime Juice...makes the shot curd up and become just udderly nasty. This, however, lacks the coffee/Bailey's just has the chunky, spoiled sourness).
And down the drain it goes.
Likely infected, as the date on the bottle was fine, and the other Left Hand/Tabernash brews I've had were solid.

Bottled on 10/02/01. There was some yucky stuff floating around in this beer that kind of turned me off. It poured a small sized tan head with fine-large sized bubbles that was mostly lasting. The body was cloudy and carbonated along with the yucky stuff floating in it. The hue was pale yellow. The nose was malty, sweet and banana with a acidic and sour taste to it. The mouthfeel was smooth and light-medium bodied. The lacing was good with this beer. This beer would have received a higher rating from me but it had a very weird taste to it that really turned me off.
