Pours a clear, light amber with a frothy dark white head with tons of lace.
Aroma of caramel, some toffee and nuts and a resiny hop hint. somewhat one-dimensional.
Flavor of light toffee, some lightly roasted caramel and a big grapefuity hit.
Mouthfeel is deep, rich sweetness coupled with a gritty but well-balanced bittering.
Drinkability is very good,a s it warms it continues to get better.

Poured a nice orange with decent head and great lacing.
Aroma was a hoppy delight with some sweet malt.
Taste was a great dry pine slightly citrus hops that all overpower any mild malty flavor.
Mouthfeel slick oilly nectar.
Drinkability was great. If I could get more I would.

Just poured this thing.

Perfect clarity with a light orange color. The head is creamy and dense and long lasting and well, almost perfect. A nice lace is achieved after each poor, the type of lace that dries and you have to scrap it off when you wash the glass.

The aroma is very nice. The first thing the nose notices is how fresh the beer smells. Next, citrus fruits of oranges and lemon and some peaches.

This is very good. I like the Warrior hops a lot. They make the flavor very acidic and add pine and make it very fresh and spicy. Grapefruit and lemon notes meet a slightly sweet crystal malt caramel backround.

The carbonation is right on. Damn, this is a good beer.

Pours a hazy coppery orange color with a generous tan head that leaves sheets of lace on the glass. This is a great looking beer that has me eagerly anticipating the first sip.

The smell is overwhelmingly malty and sweet with very little hop presence. This smells more like a barley wine than an IPA. It's not bad, it's just not what I like from this style.

The taste is more balanced with a strong sweetness that is highlighted with carmel and malt. The sweet flavors are balanced by a pretty strong hop finish. This is not the best IPA, but it's pretty darn good.

This was pretty thin in the mouth and not as full as I would have liked. The hops absolutely smother the back of the tongue and leave me with a dry bitter kick that is hard to escape.

I thought this beer was pretty good but not as good as other examples of the style. I still find this beer to be very drinkable and an interesting offering from Left Hand.

The sad thing is that I really wanted this brew to be so much better than it was. It was great to look at. The fist whiff told me everything I needed to know. It was sweet, and almost cinnamon like. Even more than that, it tasted pretty similar to that. It was sweet and spicey in a cinnamon and nutmeg sort of way. Not terrible, but I have had much, much better IPAs. Prost.
