A - Pours a brown, extremely clear color. Must be highly filtered. Off white head, well retained.
S - An american hop nose, mostly on the piney side. I'm detecting just a hint of the maple, lightly sweet.
T - Starts off with light sweetness but then adds in some citrus hop notes. Mid-stream brings in a bit of the more earthy side, a little more dank. Bitterness is there but not overpowering. Then in the finish is when the maltiness really comes back in. Nutty even, and a little bit of maple.
M - Moderate carbonation, a relatively light body. A little sticky sweetness shows up as it builds on the tongue.
O/D -An interesting beer but not one if you are one of those hop heads. I prefer my IPAs more hoppy, but this beer has some interesting side flavors. A bit filling, perhaps from the carbonation. ABV is managable and to style.

Hazy, mild copper body with a lasting yet thin, foamy head. Rye-like flavor; spicy; big sweetness but not overbearing. Heavy body; prickly on the palate; some residual sugar notes but mostly dry overall.
I really need to do a better job of sampling certain beers instead of letting them get lost in the dark depths of the beer fridge. The beer actually isn't bad for being about three years old. It's got some flavor and feel of a spiced, rye-like IPA with a touch of alcohol presence. It looks like many previous reviews are about three years old. I'd say that the beer has actually aged well and may not be to far off from what it may have been like a few years ago. That said, would this be a beer to go back to? Probably not, but it certainly has some interesting points.

L: Pours brilliant gold with a light orange tint under a 1ā white to cream foam cap that is lacy and moderately persistent. S: Fruit aromas dominate with apricot to peach, citrus and orange highlighted. T: A lightly tart palate with fruit, peach and orange with a mild bitterness and a drying finish. F: Medium body and carbonation with a creamy soft palate. O: A drinkable IPA. Iām not getting a lot of hop aroma or character so my bottle may be a little old or mishandled.

22oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, pine and juicy citrus. It tasted of sweet citrus, piney bitterness and caramel.

Pours an effervescent honey color with 3 fingers of ivory colored head. Very nice lacing & head retention
S: Bready & citrus notes, grassiness once warm
T: Bready, some orange notes, some woody bitterness as well up front. More orange sweetness & breadyness as this warms, some herbal bitterness too, tangerine notes. Finishes with herbal bitterness, citrus, & lemongrass, nice candy orange sweetness
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation , pretty good balance
Fairly easy to drink, but just another solid IPA in a sea of good/great ones. Apparently I liked it better than most

Look: Thick creamy head quickly dissipates. Very light carbonation. Clear dark orange, almost amber in color.
Smell: Citrus and Pine come to mind. The orange rind really stands out. Its maybe got a little hint of bread.
Taste: Fairly well balanced. The orange sweetness really cuts back much of the bitter hoppyness. Really quite dry. Its not terribly complex and would make for a great entry level IPA.
Feel: Crisp. Really thin though. Not much to chew on here. Meh
Overall: Just okay. Wasn't really expecting greatness, I guess, after I saw the 6.6%. This is a pretty dang light IPA. Real easy to drink but not much to it. Probably won't be revisiting this one again anytime soon.
