Very cloudy straw appearance with nice white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is s prominent grapefruit. Taste is also grapefruit that is not as prominent as the aroma suggests.

L: pours complete hazy. Zero clarity. No head formation, little lacing. Color is juice-like and delicious looking.
S: Very fruity, with passion fruit, guava, papaya, pineapple and mango being dominant aromas. Also smells pink starburst and strawberry. Freaking great smelling
T: very juicy. Tons of pink starburst flavor with mango, papaya, passion fruit and lemon. Finish is fruit sweet with lingering biscuity yeast.
F: light in body, medium in weight. Low bitterness and zero alcohol flavor.
O: tasty as hell. This batch is 7.0 abv, and I’m stoked to try at the brewery itself. I’m very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

On tap at the brewery.

Hazy AF with a white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing this looks solid. The nose is insanely juicy with tons of fresh squeezed O.J., peach juice, orange Tang, a mild floral note, a cooked sugary sweetness with a vanilla and mild Mrs Butterworths note. The palate opens juicy and sweet with plenty of mango and fresh O.J., a mildly medicinal syrupy fruity sweetness with caramelized bananas, vanilla, and some peach. Sweet on the finish, this also has notes of strawberry with a mild smoothie like character. Is this beer? The 7+% ABV suggests so, but this is more fruit juice syrup than beer IMO.

S: Yūbari King. Sharp papaya. Peaches & Cream made with CA Extra Fancy Nectarines. Concentrated mango jugomex. Sharp papaya.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
T : Muskmelon. Sunny D Orange Mango Punch. Orange-colored Flintstone Vitamins. Light pepper. Pink grapefruit.
M: Medium-light bodied. Sticky. Creamy. Slightly slick. Moderate, prickly carbonation. Dry finish.

O: You really can't go wrong with any Great Notion beer that has the word "Ripe" in it somewhere. Ripe, Super Over Ripe, Super Duper Ripe, and Fresh Hop Ripe have all been five-star beers in my books. I'm sure this will depend on personal preference, but Over Ripe is a little too melon / stonefruit forward for my liking -- or just too much fruit in general. The aroma is deceptively sweet, but it finishes a lot drier than it suggests; there's a strange almost dairy-like lactosugar-esque flavor in the middle of the brew which is eliciting all my descriptors related to cream, artificial sweetness, and Sunny D, but it still finishes with an overwhelming amount of hop-derived flavor accompanied by a drying sensation which allows you to keep the party going.
