A hop head red lager with a smooth malt finish & a pungent, citrusy hop aroma. Wibby’s smoother version of your favorite IPA.

Bought locally, no dating on the can.
It pours a clear amber gold with over a finger of foam, very good lacing.
The smell is very hop forward. I get notes of pine and grass and some toasted malt.
The taste is very assertive. Big piney hops with some grass and toasted malt with all 3 being very noticeable. Pretty darned good.
Good mouthfeel, almost juicy.
Excellent. This tickles my fancy.

Medium orange with a bit of amber highlights. Moderate level of a slight sweet spiced, medium toasted malt aroma. Good amount of medium toast caramel malt, with an off-dry taste and quite ample herbal, floral and spice hop presence and bite, which takes it to the finish.

12 fl oz pull-tab can nabbed as part of a sixer at a beer store in NE Colorado:
Currently ranked #25 in the top American Amber / Red Lager beers list (despite it clearly being labeled an IPL).
7% ABV. 76 IBU.
Does have a toasted/caramelized red malt backbone, which I didn't expect going in (I figured it'd be all 2-row/pale malt with maybe some crystal or caramalt). The toastiness is nice and gives it a subtle bready flavour. Hop profile doesn't dazzle, but it's enjoyable...floral, a bit resinous.
A drinkable IPL with an unexpected amber malt presence that helps set it apart from the crowd. I doubt I'd buy it again but it's not a bad brew in its nascent style.

L: Pours a slightly dull amber orange with a small to medium white head and a few fingers of lacing on the glass.
S: Lots of fresh berry, notes of cherry, grapefruit orange, some kiwi, mango and guava, nice and inviting.
T: Berry, some cherry, lots of tropical fruit including orange, kiwi, mango, guava, a medium bitterness.
F: Medium body, lower carbonation
O: This is a very nice IPL.

12 oz can. Pours light red amber with a big creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet vegetal grains and fruity noble hops.
The flavor is sweet grainy malt with some floral fruit and harsh ashy hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, I'm not liking the flavors. I remember liking this better on tap.
