Pours slightly hazy blonde (SRM ~4) Just an overall underwhelming brew, but inoffensive. Very few notes other than creamy orange. No real IPA bitterness. Tastes like orange juice.
My second beer from this brewery. Loved their Stout, but this IPA leaves a lot to be desired.

my first beer from rusty nail, pretty light as these go, but fruity and good, less hazy than expected from the tap, short patchy white layer of bubbles on top, blonde more than orange, not milky or starchy really, looks pretty well refined and with somewhat relaxed carbonation. the aroma and flavor are just slightly less than fully fresh to me but still bring juicy mango, sweet orange, and cantaloupe notes, tropical and summery, a touch yeasty and soapy maybe, a yeast note, but not forced on the hops, not green, not bitter, and not way off for being just a little tired. perhaps this was a line pour, place i had this had a ton of taps and we got there when they opened, not sure of protocol, but this tastes like maybe its the bar not the beer, hope to revisit next time back out that way. the flavor is promising, fruity and even distinct from the hops, could have galaxy or something in it, i get a lime and lime leaf kind of note, more orange and now meyer lemon too, with very light grain in the background for a hazy, cleaner than many in that regard, but not quite alive enough in the mouthfeel to be a real drinker. good hop profile, a beer with plenty of promise, almost candy sweet for a second before the finish, odd. id love to try this again when i know its how its supposed to be, but still thankful to have run into this, solid hop build on it, cant be too harsh with this after the pour i had...

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus. Taste is orange peels, light lemons, juicy. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall this is an enjoyable beer.

Hazy golden yellow with one finger of white head. The smell is very floral with a hint of orange juice. The taste is of orange juice with a hint of pineapple. Medium thick body with little carbonation. I got this in Pennsylvania and I’m drinking it in North Carolina August 5, 2023.

Final beer reviewed from the RR Variety Pack. 12oz can
Pours a hazy yellow color, opaque with no light shining through. Half finger head on the initial pour.
Nice aromas of citrus and pine.
Nice IPA. Traditional flavor profile of citrus, grapefruit and malty pine. ABV is not noticeable.
Medium body, medium carbonation.
Overall, a decent IPA. Nothing outstanding but a solid IPA…cheers!

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. No date on the can that I can see. Got it this week from @ozzylizard as part of NBS BIF #17.
Pours a hazy light gold with a big thick head. Collapses after a few minutes and leaves big, ropy lacing. Smell is bright citrus -- orange and lemon -- with a little bit of a tropical turn to it, maybe a little mango or pineapple.
Taste is much more on the bitter side than I expected -- I was expecting juicy and fairly sweet, but it's juicy with a lot of fruit skin bitterness. Interesting that it mostly stays away from the pine / citrus rind bitterness.
Mouthfeel is somewhere between light and medium, pretty smooth. Overall, this is a nice beer.

New England for sure. Dry pine all the way through. Great hazy look. No lacing to speak of. Almost flat mouthfeel but not to be considered bad. Decent but not overwhelmingly impressed.

Deep golden brew, fluffy, somewhat dense white cap. The Monster is juicy as hell, creamy mouthfeel that leaves you expecting pulp in each sip. Somewhat surprising that a beer with 3 Southwestern hop varieties (El Dorado, Amarillo, Azacca) would have such a decidedly New England taste profile. Mega-citrus comes through from the Citra and Mosaic used, the bitter bite of the finish comes straight from the Southwest. My first Rusty Rail beer, and it's a winner.
