Notes: Huerta starts as our Pinot de la Casa which is our house saison aged in freshly dumped Pinot Noir barrels for nearly a year. We then referment that base with a California grown Sugarcot varietal of apricots for several months before naturally conditioning in the bottle.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at More Brewing co. on December 14, 2018. House saison aged in Pinot Noir barrels for almost a year. That base is fermented with California grown Sugarcot Apricots.

Poured a gold with a slight glow and a few clear bubbles. The apricot cannot be missed in the taste, with some wine dryness in the yeast, but really more tart than sour. Some supporting wood, white grape, grain and tangerine. Smell has the big apricot, but then some residue that smells like the plastic finish on boxed wine, small but detectable and odd. Not acidic or overly tart or sour, very drinkable, but there are better apricot sours out there.
