750ml capped bottle into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.

This one's a gusher. Nose is coriander, peppercorn, lemon zest, oak and a touch of frothy funk. Vibrant, lively and delicious! Beer opens lemon zest, peppercorn and cobwebs. Woody towards the middle with some floral notes and more tartness. Finishes clean with a citrus zestiness. Solid. Body is light with moderate to ample carbonation. Prickly on the palate and goes down sparkling but soft. Clean aftertaste. Super drinkable.

There's a creaminess in this one that throws the flavor off a bit. Otherwise, super drinkable.

750 mL bottle. Clear golden body. Smells of lemon and a little earthy grain flavor. Tastes of tart lemons, grain, faint sweetness. Earthy and bretty back end. High carbonation. Light body. It's good but at some point "subtle" becomes "muted" and this beer is falls a little bit into that second category.

This one pours a soft looking yellow, with a small but fluffy head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells like sweet lemons, herbal grassiness, hay-like funk, and stone fruit.

This is so delicate and wonderful. It's really citrusy, in a sort of orange/lemon zest sort of way, with a nice herbal grassiness from the lemongrass. There's a bucolic grassy funk, and some extra peachy fruitiness as well. There's a lot of flavors here, but they all meld together exceptionally well.

This is light bodied, soft and a bit creamy, with a good level of carbonation.

Suarez is going to be a nationally known and nationally wanted brewery very soon, I think. They make absolutely excellent beers.

Bold gold with billowing white head. This beer fools you into thinking its sweet with candied orange, bready malt, and a slick almost lactose feel accented by some time in the barrel. Aroma is even sweet fruit and maybe even caramel. Seems to have picked up some vanilla with the slightest accent of clove. Although the lemongrass is surprisingly sweet it's still mainly a tribute to sour lemon. Mint balm keeps a cool cap on any tartness. A dry kick on the end combined with good carbonation keeps it refreshing despite the warmth of alcohol tickling my tummy.

Lemongrass is such a tough nut to crack in both booking and brewing. This effort looks smells and feels wonderful, but the flavor is so delicate and light it's almost lost. Thankfully it is t completely lost. Dig significantly.

750ml, dated 5/17, poured into a stemless wine glass.

The beer pours a bright golden color, hazy and cloudy with two fingers of foamy white head that has good retention and yields nice swatches of soapy lace. The aroma is great, super bright with plenty of lemongrass and wildflower but also some nice yeast and cultures, soft oak, peppercorn and lemon peel. The flavors are very good, very bright and delicate, super floral with a nice lemongrass, lemon zest, pale grains are beautifully expressed, light spice and peppercorn with a soft oak and yeasty finish. The mouthfeel is very good, lively medium body, coating and creamy with a very delicate and easy finish.

Verdict: A really nice saison from Suarez Family. After having Call to Mind, which I found way too herbal and medicinal, but this beer is anything but. It's bright, delicate, refreshing and the lemongrass really pops but never comes across as one note and makes for a really nice beer.

Poured as a hazy yellow color with a white head on top that leaves a nice lacing. The smell has a very nice lemongrass aroma. The taste of the beer has a nice spicy sweetness to it. The feel is light and bubbly. Overall I really enjoyed this brew.
