I have never heard of this brewery. I have tried less than 20 of this style of beer. I do like Saison but on occasions. They are a funky barnyard beer that take finesse. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The gentle pour on the beer produced a one finger bright white head. The head dissipated slowly leaving lacing on the glass. The color of the beer SRM 4 a straw yellow with amber hues. The clarity of the beer is clear with a touch of haziness.

Initial aromas of the beer barnyard, grass, yeast, toasted malt, earthy, honey, citrus, and vinegar note.

The flavors of this beer grassy, barnyard, yeast, toasted malt, earthy, floral esters, honey, earthy, and a vinegar note.

The mouthfeel of the beer is astringent and funky.

The body of the beer is light, medium carbonation, and a medium finish.

The beer is funky and true to its style.

A slow motion gush occurred after opening, lost a quarter cup or so. It's a cloudy gold beer topped by three fingers of pure white foam that kicks back to a lasting thick cap. Beautiful.

Full aroma that stars earthy funk and "rotting flower aroma" (best I can describe it), assisted ably by doughy tart yeastiness, pepper, a light minty note, crisp grainy flavor, lemon-limey funk, and some pithy bitter behind it all.

Full flavored snapshot of the aroma. It is so well balanced that it seems to be a blend, but each of the flavors is distinct in the mix, none overpowers, and they each come into play through an amazingly complex sip. It ends with the pepper and earth joined by pith bitter, drying it nicely.

As all Suarez saisons, this is super soft on palate, yet substantial body that stays super refreshing, spritzy carb., bright flavor display that lingers cleanly and calls for next sip.

I get the feeling of being spoiled each time I open a Suarez saison, almost like i am not worthy to enjoy such excellence. Highest recommendation, get this and enjoy another of the finest saisons on planet.

750ml capped bottle, wine glass. Cloudy bright golden yellow body, two finger white head, effervescent and frothy with good retention and a lot of lacing. Smell is tart apple, sweet grain, lemon zest, a bit of tart acetic acidity, grass, leather. Wonderful in its complexity and appealing in its brightness. Flavour follows; incredibly refreshing combination of zest, grass, grain, and Brett. Really nice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, appropriate for 5% ABV, incredibly refreshing and easy to finish off a whole bottle on my own. Wonderful stuff, I have really been enjoying Suarez beers and am not sure why they are not more sought after- but that's to my advantage!

On tap at Suarez Family Brewery in Livingston, NY.

This one pours a moderately hazy light yellow color, with a solid foamy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like blood orange, wheat, lemon rind, stone fruit, grassy funk, Brett, and oak.

This is one of the more HF-like of the "country beers" that Suarez has produced. It's got such a nice citrusy funkiness to it, with orange and lemon dominating, and a touch of peach, with a grassy herbal character, and a light oak finish.

This is super drinkable, with a sparking level of carbonation.

Over the past few years, Suarez has continued to assert themselves as the best brewery in this state. It's almost not fair.

Deep golden color with a mirage like haziness. Not the lost ruins of El Dorado, but this beer glistens.

Pineapple, peach, bales of grass, sunflowers, strawberry blossoms, zucchini flowers.

Lacto like smoothness. Medium body. Not mind bendingly tart, but with enough tang to even out a dry finish.

Blood orange, rock candi sugar but with a dense coating of grapefruit dust. Mandarin orange sweetness. Hay like funk and tangy like I chewed on a lemon rind after soaking it in a pot of peachy-pear tea. Chamomile, marjoram, coriander spice.

750ml capped bottle into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.

A gusher. Nose is lemon zest, lemon gummy candy, cane sugar and a bright, zesty pepperiness. Beer opens lemon zest, peppercorn, coriander, a touch of ginger and a sprinkle of cane sugar. Foamy in the middle with a mild, juicy tartness. Some cotton, fresh oak barrels and a light Brett presence to finish things off. Goes down juicy, quenching with subtle spice notes. Body is light with ample carbonation (maybe a bit TOO ample). Prickly and foamy on the palate with a juicy, lingering finish. Super drinkable.

A fantastic session beer. Great complexity with just the right body. Just wish this one didn't gush all over the place.
