One of the few spots that seems to have a somewhat regular supply of Trillium on tap, which is what brought us there. Had dinner as well and the food was solid. Worth visiting if Trillium is on tap, otherwise no real reason to go out of your way to stop by.

This is in a bit of an odd location, way off the "tourist" beaten track.
Nice place, kinda dark and cozy, very quiet on an early Tuesday night.
Very good taplist, had Trillbomb! on tap, which was awesome. One of the first things the waitress told me was that they were about to tap a keg of Lawson's Super Session. Well, don't mind if I do. I have seen complaints about the pricing, but I have to be honest and say that I didn't look, which might have been a good thing. The taplist was very varied, with loads of interesting stuff.
Food was very good, had a steak that was cooked just right, with a very nice potatoe gratin. They went a bit overboard with the salad, as it was a ridiculous amount of it. It was good though.
Service was excellent, I was helped by a waitress with a pierced nose who was originally from Texas. I didn't catch her name, but she was very chatty and helpful.
I enjoyed dinner here, and will be back next time I hit Boston.

Love the look of this place especially at night, tap selection has always been great and all beers have been poured perfectly. A bit pricey but its what the neighborhood is, pretty inventive food with good portions. Most certainly different enough eats to pair with the beer selection. Best stop in this immediate part of town.

Spacious beer hall about a 20 minute walk from Chinatown. Very nice tap list but ridiculous prices. A 10oz pour of Trillium for $9.25 which had an inch of head no less, so we're really talking 8-9oz at most. Really? With tip we're looking at over $10 for a tiny beer. Would have liked to eat but I can't even imagine how much the food costs with beer prices that high.

Luckily we were staying next to this rad little restaurant and tap house; the bartenders were super nice and sociable, the food was excellent (pork belly BLT...mmmm...) and the selection of local beers was first-rate and expansive. They even had some great out-of-town taps (like KBS or Weihenstephaner 1516). If you're anywhere hear this spot GO.

Great place! Small but versatile selection. A few gems on the list. Food is superb! Decent vegetarian selection in addition to some great meat preparation!

From the same restaurant group that brought us the overpriced Five Horses Tavern comes Worden Hall. It has a great tap lineup (you can find it on their website), but good god the prices are flat out terrible. Examples: $8.75 for 16 oz. of Wormtown Be Hoppy IPA; $9 for 12 oz. of Lord Hobo Boom Sauce; $8.50 for a 10 oz. pour of Maine Beer Peeper; $9.75 for a 10 oz. pour of Maine Beer Zoe. Seriously. That is effing ridiculous.
The ambiance is OK and the food that we had was fine -- a bit better than standard pub fare -- but there's no effing way I'll be returning with tap prices that high. I've paid less for beer in pricier neighborhoods of Manhattan -- at much nicer restaurants -- and this is South Boston. Whitey Bulger wouldn't recognize the place.
