Author James Fenimore Cooper gave the name 'Glimmerglass' to the beautiful body of water that graces Cooperstown. Nestled between gentle mountains, it reflects any object held up to it, just as it reflects our joy at the arrival of each spring.
Deep straw to light amber in color with a thick, pure white head. The saison yeast strain gives off fruity aromas of pear, apple and slight citrus balanced with a delicate floral hop character and a touch of spiciness. Taste is very clean, with pronounced fruit flavors, delicate bready malt followed by welcomed spicing. Crisp finish with lingering yet subtle notes of yeast and touches of fruity pepper.

Poured from a 12 oz glass into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Pours a bright medium golden color with massive foamy white head. Head lasts forever and leaves great lacing.
S: Sweet citrus and thyme. Zesty and spicy.
T/F: Orange and citrus mixed with Belgian yeast to give a fruity and refreshing Saison. Herbal and spicy... peppercorn and thyme. Well carbonated. Medium to light in body. Finish is a little sticky with sweet and bitter orange rind.
O: Ommegang knows their way around a Saison and this is a tasty one. Lots of citrus and herbal character. Bitter orange and sweetness complement the yeast nicely... great for the warming weather.

Clear sparkling gold-amber with an eggshell dome that mushroomed out of the glass to an uncanny extreme without spilling. Sediment brings the snowglobe effect when you aren't careful of the full pour.
Smell is wheat, Belgian yeast that is more phenolic than estery, with clove, pear, banana, herbs and toffee.
Taste is bitter orange rind, Belgian yeast again that is more on the phenolic end, with some grass.
Soft, frothy, medium bodied.
