Easily one of the best saisons I have ever had.

Poured from an old (6 months+) 16 oz can into a snifter. This is a solid saison, especially so considering it's only 4.5% abv. It doesn't come across as lacking in flavor but that is really the only thing to say about it. It has lemony flavor along with hints of spices (from the grains of paradise and coriander I assume). A decent beer but nothing to seek out again.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of yeast, spices, light lemons. Taste is big on spices, crackers, lemons, a bit on the dry side. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer, but not up to this fine brewers usual standards.

Really nice session saison here. Light, citrusy, not overly piney or grassy, and very drinkable. I bought a four-pack of 16 ounce cans, and those won't last long. Never been to Cooperstown (though I need to get there), but if I ever do, I'm making a stop at Ommegang part of my trip.

L: pours brilliant gold laced with streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 2" frothy blanket of white foam with fair to good retention
S: smells of light grain, Saison yeast, spice, citrus
T: There is a hint of smoke in the flavors along with spice, light grains, lemon, and citrus
F: light, creamy and effervescent
O: a very refreshing, thirst quenching summer drink

Tall can. Best before dating of 08-2018
Lightly hazed. Lighter near golden. Fine lacing left behind.
Lemony and zesty nose.
Well crafted saison, more zesty lemon, yeasty and peppery notes.
Refreshing, crisp and delicious. Fine warm weather brew and naturally great with food of all sorts.

The slightly hazed light golden yellow colored beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 3/4” snow white head that recedes slowly to a thin layer of foam on the liquid and leaving a complex pattern of lacing on the sides of the glass. Sipping creates lots of small patches and legs of lacing that cling to the sides of the glass. When well over mid-way though the beer there are still some sheets and speckles of lacing on the sides of the glass.
The aromas include some lemon and some bready wheat backed up by some grassy, earthy character and some spicy, yeasty mustiness.
The flavors are much as expected from the nose. There’s the wheat, a bit of lemon, some white pepper and some coriander all backed up by some light earthy and grassy bitterness.
The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied and slightly prickly from the persistent, finely bubbled carbonation. The finish begins as the lemon recedes a bit to allow the sweetness to become a bit forward. Then both fade to let the spiciness a bit before it fades and disappears into some persistent grassy, earthy bitterness that eventually disappears in the long crisp, dry, slightly peppery ending.
In addition to being quite refreshing this saison offers a nicely complex aroma/flavor profile. I expect I’ll be trying this one again, especially since it has a surprisingly low ABV for a beer with this much flavor. I’d expect the spiciness and pepperiness would also go well with grilled sausages and baked or grilled chicken
