[Best served in a Trappist glass]

The pour was a hazy golden orange with an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that lasted throughout, reducing slowly down to a large foamy cap which produced excellent sheets of sticky lace.

The aroma was of a grain malt, an herbal hop and a musty yeast with notes of citrus (lemon) and a bit of clove.

The taste was malty with a slight hint of wheat and a note of citrus at first and then had a strong yeasty taste with a good dose of spice at the end. The flavor lasted only a short time which was kind of disappointing, as this was one tasty brew.

Mouthfeel was right in the middle of light and medium in body with a smooth creamy texture and a good lively carbonation.

Overall an extremely good tasting brew with a low alcohol content for a Belgian Ale, which makes this a beer I could drink all day long…

Served at a good temperature and with a large, fluffy, frothy, billowy, cream colored head and some lace. Color is a clear amber with a couple of lazy bubble trails. Aroma is a traditional Belgian blonde, spicy, malt, a bit of fruit, not overly sweet. Body is ok and carbonation is a little on the flat side. Finish is similar to flavor and on the short side. Beer promises huge dividends and is excellent, but seems somehow as if it should be better.

Served in a tulip.

Appearance: Semi-cloudy gold, and the head was like an erupting volcano; comes off white full inch and some off the body.

Smell: Smells honestly a bit of orange peel, yeast, slight hops.

Taste: I want to rate this higher it is closer now after tasting like a champagney...borderline "Bière de Champagne". Not a bad thing though, I like the feeling of yeast and great texture.

Mouth: Medium carbonation, not easy to hate.

Overall; Try it, why not....litterally nothing to lose though I recommend this on warmer climates might change your judgement of the beer. Hope you enjoy, Salud!
