Vibe? Its a grocery store type of place to buy beer to go.

Always the place to stop and visit for brews to go in Fort Collins. Service has always been good. Prices seem fair, and the selection is top notch.
Check it out, you won't go home empty handed.

Visited on a weekday to shop for beer to fly home with me. I was specifically looking for barrel aged stouts I can't find in my distribution, but they had a lot of interesting things and seemed to have really good distribution. I gave good scores for service because I had a good conversation with their whiskey guy, but didn't talk to anyone about beer.

As far as the vibe goes...mostly it's a warehouse full of booze. Not an inspiring environment, but certainly one that I can enjoy.

Large grocery-store style wine and spirit store. Beer is stored mostly in colors, with a dozen or so wall coolers holding large format bottles, individual 12/16oz bottles/cans and 6 packs. A few dry stacks of beer play host to macro and larger craft beer pack offerings. Staff is a bit all over the place, but helpful in general. Selection is strong, with such a large space full of options and the sales to turn inventory over. It's worth a stop in Fort Collins for beer.

Wilbur's is my go-to place to buy beer in Fort Collins. They have a wide variety of local six-packs and bombers, plus a good selection of English, Belgian, and German beers. They have a limited mix-a-six section that I've picked over pretty thoroughly, but Wilbur's can provide for all of your beer needs, especially for local brews.

This is a large store about the size of a grocery store. Beers are to the right. A long wall of coolers and and equally long dry shelf. Great selection. They allow mix a six with individually priced bottles.

Great selection of bombers, good number of breweries, both local and national. We make trips to Ft Collins just for beer runs, and this is usually where we go.

Not recommended - very poor service. Their selection and size is great - but their cashiers are extremely UN-informed, rude and ridiculous to be honest.

While purchasing wine, I was asked for both my ID and my wife's ID. My wife at no point held, handled or carried the alcohol. The cashier said she would not sell to me (the person with ID and whom was paying) because my wife didn't have her ID with her. We then asked if we could JUST purchase the pint glasses we also wanted (no alcohol) - we were refused then as well.

Yes there's a college campus very close - yes people try to buy alcohol that are not of age - but if you verify the ID of the person purchasing the alcohol why does anything else matter?

To note - we're both 30+ years of age and frequent the shopping center where this store is located. We'll never go back again. Completely ridiculous...

As many have pointed out the selection is by far one of the best in town and it rotates it stock constantly. I have seen write ups on various foreign and local beers and thought I'd like to try them, damn if I don't find them at Wilbur's! Yep bring your credit card cause your going to need it. I have requested various non local beers in keg form - I'm not too crazy on the request ie. various Roque or Alaskan, and local in 6ths or 1/4s and they get them for me. I've noticed a lot of reviews stating the staff isn't that great and it's anything but, yes they don't bother you - browse to your hearts content but if you have a question and ask, they are right there with the answer, or recommendations. I'm not a wine guy - I enjoy it but don't take the time to educate myself, so I rely on recommendations and the Wilbur's staff have never led me wrong. I would give them 5.0 rating but I drop a lot of coin there and they have a rewards program- spend a grand and you get 10 bucks and a 10% off purchase coupon. A bit weak but on the flip side - I have gone in for various cases of wine or beer that was on sale a few days prior but the sale ended and they had no problem giving me the sale price so kudos on that!

A bit like walking into Wal-Mart without all the retarded patrons. Nobody offered to assist me even though several employees walked by me a number of times. It was close to closing time and I'm sure that's what they were concerned with. Not a deal-breaker. The selection in this goliath is very extensive although the majority of it is not necessarily hard to find. I didn't count the coolers, but they got bookoo. Lots of shelved large bottles - some pretty hard to come by most of which had a 1 per customer notice on the shelf. They have a mix-a-six which probably looks good to an out-of-stater, but I'll bet it's pretty lame to the locals. I spent over $100 in like 10 mins. Prices are pretty standard for the area. The girl at the register commented on my picks and I could tell she knew quite a bit about beer. I told her it was all headed for Oklahoma and she found me an extra heavy duty tall wine box. I didn't have time to check out the rest of the store, unfortunately. Check out this monster if you get the chance.

What more can be said of Wilbur's? This is the first place I was able to get a beer from pretty much any brewery you name. Apparently their beer cooler is larger than most, if not all liquor stores (total store) in the state! Then they have their room temp beers that is an entirely different level. The wine, and spirits selection are second to none. Great knowledgeable staff too

The big liquor store in Fort Collins. Big, clean, well organized. A nice selection of sixers and bombers, being the popular place their stuff can sell out rather quickly, but if it hits the market they always get it. I kind of want to take off more points because their mixed sixer selectionis very, very disapointing for what a place of their size could offer.. Service is nothing special. Cashiers are generally the only one's available/willing to help and it being a bigger store, they are only the middle men, they need to call the beer department for information. If the beer guy(s) isn't there, which is too often, than they don't have the info to help you other than letting you know if the beer is in stock or not. I guess that's what comes with a bigger store like Wilburs, but I do prefer the smaller stores where employees are more involved with everything, so they have a better understanding of the comings and goings. Price point here is fine, things at the going rate. On occassion, you can get some decent sales going on which offer some really nice prices.
