16oz can. Pours a translucent yellow with an inch of bubbly head. Some lacing. The aroma is lemon, pineapple, orange and grapefruit. Some toasted bread as well. The taste is grapefruit and pine followed by the citrus zest. Toasted malts and grapefruit at the end with a lemon finish. Some light floral hop bitterness. Light body with a creamy mouthfeel. Solid warm weather beer.

Can dated November 2nd poured into a teku glass.
L: Bright clear yellow with a finger of white head that leaves a bit of lacing around the glass.
S: Pine and grass with a bit a lemon
T: Same as the smell but with some additional flavors, possibly grapefruit. Mild bitterness.
F: Smooth finish and medium carbonation
O: A enjoyable light pale ale. I could see myself drinking a few of these in a day.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware.

A real nice looking beer. Nose is citrus, pineapple, pine and grass. Crisp, fresh and clean. Beer opens lightly spritzy. Hints of lemon zest, grass and bark. A biting hop bitterness towards the end gives this one a memorable finish. Body is light with moderate to low carbonation. Very drinkable and soft on the palate.

Solid. Could use a bit more flavor but definitely crushable.

Pours a fairly clear yellow, with fine, thick foam.

Smell is pretty juicy and crisp with some earthy tones and some citrus.

Taste is also crisp and floral with some citrus and a nicely integrated bitterness.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a refreshing and drinkable pale ale, well balanced.

Fresh 16oz can from the brewery. A bright light gold with smells of grapefruit and pine. Taste follows the smell. Very quaffable. Overall, this is a great extra pale ale, and one of my favorites from Industrial Arts. Better, in my opinion, than amazeballs and NYPA, which is saying a lot.

A: nice soapy, three finger head, mostly clear gold body, unremarkable
S: sprucey, piney notes, that's about it as far as I can tell
T: clean, low on the bitterness, crisp, subtly sweet, piney, with touches of grapefruit and lemon
M: soft with medium carbonation
O: it tastes good, it's much better than your average APA but that's about all there is to say about it without wasting breath on philosophy and intention that are not so distinct to be all that important

A pale, crisp, hoppy ale with moderate haze, excellent mouthfeel, and a strong citrus aroma. The flavor has a hint of tangerine and grapefruit. I assume the bittering hops are Citra and the aroma hops are Centennial. Tools of the Trade is unique among APA's for sure. With an ABV below 5, this is definitely one ale you can stick with all day.

This is a tasty pale ale. The smell is familiar with a unique twist - pineapple, lemon, fruity pebbles, maybe even some berry. There has to be Mosaic in here. The taste is smooth and drinkable. It reminds me of Lizard King but not quite as good. nb
