16 oz. can, about one month old.
Clear golden pour with a finger’s head. Spotty lacing. A full ring of carbonation and surface coverage after a few minutes.
Grapefruit and pine scents, along with bready yeast.
Nicely bitter first impression with citrus and pine. Well balanced with pale malt.
Medium body, smooth and with dry finish.
As flavorful and substantial as many 6-8 % ABV IPA’s.

A: Poured from the can into a Palm tulip. Body is chill-hazed golden, slightly orange when backlit. Thin whitish head.
S: Nice nose for a Session IPA: ripe peaches and apricots, sweeter tropical fruits (mango, papaya).
T: Very good - though it doesn't quite live up to the nose. Again, think apricots and peaches, a touch of papaya, and decent citrus (oranges up front, grapefruit and lemony bitterness at the finish.
M: As often happens with this style, it is a bit thin in feel, but enough flavor to keep it from feeling watery.
O: Very good. An excellent Session IPA. Sometimes you get what you pay for (this was $14.99 for the 4-pack).

Sent over from brutalfarce! Canned on 6/19/18.
Pours a lightly hazy blonde color with a firm white cap of 2 fingers that settles to 1 after a minute's time.
Aroma is of peach and papaya and sweaty armpit, slight orange jelly.
Flavor is big and fresh. Lots of juicy ripe orange, mixed with papaya, white grapefruit, slight herbal earthy dankness, then pounces back up to a milky pineapple finish. As it warms the herbal dankness comes out a bit more but it's still very refreshing.
Feel is a bit chalkier than I'd like, especially throughout the entire profile. There is slight resin on the finish with a nice quiet carbonation throughout.
Overall, Safety Glasses is a winner to me. Very tasty, easy drinking session IPA and I'd gladly have it again.

L: Golden with slight red highlights. Originally poured with a soapy head. Some light lace. Pretty clear slight turbidity.
S: Nice aroma, lots of fruit, peach, papaya, and various citrus. Touch of yeast
T: Dry cracker malts, get those fruity notes toward the back end with a soft yet present citrus pith bitterness.
F: Quite smooth, pretty easy drinking. Body is full and not heavy per say but has heft. Carbonation isn't very noticable, more soft than anything.
O: Quite nice beer, pretty summery. Drinks pretty easy, fitting the session label. Only thing not sessionable is the price perhaps, but its well crafted.

Poured from 16oz can dated 10/12/17 to a tulip.
Foggy amber appearance, beautiful frothy head that laces nicely.
Smells of mild pine, peach and citrus. Not very aromatic actually.
Peach follows into the taste, malt finish, surprising alcohol presence for 5.8 ABV.
Not bad. Good to have a lower ABV IPA of this caliper.
