Canned on 12/11/2019. Poured into an Industrial Arts pint glass. It pours a cloudy, bright brownish-tangerine color with a small, creamy, bright white cap and a thick film of lacing. It closely resembles Wrench and Torque. The super fruity and fragrant nose includes tangerine/orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and pineapple. It's incredibly fruity with abundant tart, slightly bitter lemon and grapefruit, along with sweeter tangerine, pineapple, bubblegum, and oats. As the glass warms there are notes of berry from the Simcoe hops and the Comet hops provide a nice dank resin. It finishes with a strong, spicy bitterness thanks the Mosaic hops. The tastes are strong and bold. It drinks big. The mouthfeel is moderate with a pleasant level of carbonation. And while the 10% ABV isn't overwhelming there is a fairly strong alcohol burn at the finish. Overall, this is quite an ale. It's not surprising that Industrial Arts stepped up with a TIPA version of its flagship Wrench and it's done a very fine job with it.

Poured into a Belgian style snifter/tulip glass

L: 4 some light breaking through at the top leading to a muddy yellow bleeding down to a deep orange towards the bottom. Thin white head leaving behind lacing. Thick.
S: 4.5 phenomenal, as expected from a wrench iteration. Hoppy and citrusy. Grapefruit sticks out.
T: 4.25 Dense mix of hops and fruits. Follows the nose. A tinge of alcohol on the back end.
F: 4.5 Almost oily. Thick mouthfeel with moderate carbonation to break things up a bit. A slow drinker for sure, but appreciable nonetheless.
O: 4.25 almost passed this one up. Glad I gave it a try.

Perfectly balanced fruit bomb of an IPA with no dankness. (I'm not a fan of the dankness).Very similar taste profile to Wrench or Torque Wrench, both also made by Industrial Arts, but I like Impact even better.. Just beware the 10 percent alcohol!

Poured into a teku glass via draft

color is a bright hazy orange

smell is tropical citrus

taste follows the nose..ABV is barely detectable, smooth as silk..very similar in taste to Wrench

carbonation is low and the mouthfeel is creamy

this is one heck of a TIPA!
