Great looking beer. Dense, dark chocolate head. Nose is pepper, chocolate, fudge and cocoa. Spiciness is prominent. Almost sweet. Roasted malt and a bit of sweet cream too. Beer opens with hints of chocolate, sweet and spicy pepperiness and semi-sweet brownie. Almost salty in the middle with cinnamon, five smell spice and a touch of anise and cumin. Lightly tart at the finish but its not from infection but rather some other ingredient that I can't quite place. Not great, not bad, supremely interesting. Chocolate, cocoa powder and roasted malt in the middle and goes down Body is super dense with moderate to low carbonation. Heavy, slick and oily on the palate and goes down spicy with an accented finish. A big beer for sure.

There's a ton going on in this beer. Some good and some bad but all of it is interesting. This isn't for everyone but everyone should try it.

Dark black pour from a crowler. No head to speak of. But that smell! The aroma is intoxicating. Coconut and vanilla with hints of cinnamon. The flavors follow the nose. Coconut comes through loud and clear with vanilla and exotic spices on the finish. Spices are a mix of cinnamon, cloves and cardamom which compliment the coconut/vanilla without overpowering them.
Very tasty beverage.

I had a very bad cold while drinking this beer, but my friends agreed with my tasting notes:

-baker's chocolate
-savory pepper notes, pronounced lack of actual spice heat
-coconut and vanilla are MIA

On tap. Tan head, black color.

Coffee, roast, chocolate, and some miscellaneous spice flavors. Not entirely sure what is in this one. Maybe some vanilla sweetness, but it has some kind of spice flavor as well. Maybe it’s chili? Coconut. Pretty fun to try and enjoyable. Full bodied.

S: coffee with chocolate and vanilla cream, touch of coconut in the background
T: great interplay of the coffee, chocolate and vanilla. the spice shows up cutting through some of that sweetness, great luscious mouthfeel
F: more of that coffee/chocolate/vanilla goodness with some coconut to boot
O: This beer is just incredible. Very impressive how all elements work on concert together, you can taste each one of them. If you like stouts on the sweeter side, this is probably your thing. Very well constructed beer. Still just amazes me at how much it reminded of a frappacino (or something similar to that).

Black body. Thin ring for settled head. Very little lacing.
Smell of chocolate, coconut, coffee, and alcohol.
Taste of sweet chocolate, coconut, and alcohol. Very interesting interplay between coffee and spices.
Thick, coating mouth feel. Slight alcohol burn on tongue.
A rather sweet tasting stout. A very distinctive coffee and spices combination in the after taste.
