Millerzzz is a barrel aged, vanilla bean, maple syrup American double stout. We chose both small and large format rye whiskey and bourbon barrels with two small format maple soaked bourbon barrels for this blend. The barrels presented tones of vanilla, chocolate, spiced oak and rich maple and smooth booze which blended perfectly with the adjuncts. We split and carefully scraped the caviar from vanilla beans grown in five different regions. This blend got beans from Mexico, Uganda, Madagascar, Tahiti and Ecuador along with maple syrup from Miller’s maple farm in Cashton, Wisconsin. A rich delectable stout blended to drink within a year with your closest friends around a roaring fire.

Pours pitch black with a tan head, decent leggings when swirled. Aroma is fudge, coffee, chocolate, maple and a hint of bourbon. Flavor follows the nose, decadently sweet and fudgy. Feel is thick and syrupy, very little carbonation (although this bottle is 5 years old, unsure how it was fresh.) Overall, divine but definitely a beer to share, would be too much for one as sweet as it is.

On tap. Black color. Thick and oily. Tan head.
It’s like Nillerzzzzz but with maple. Sweet, sticky, syrupy. Chocolate and fudge. All the vanillas. Add in the maple syrup and this is a breakfast delight. Very thick and pastry like. Awesome barrel flavors. Nice and warming.

Happy birthday to me! So let’s drink a beer. A beer in a 750ML bottle. A beer to split with my lovely (& patient) wife. A beer I think is going to be pretty good.
Black black with close to no head. The nose is a divine amount of maple syrup, vanilla, wicked sweetness, with bourbon on the down low.
Millerzzzz is purebred sipping beer. Wow. Let’s begin at the bottom – the base beer, because every pyramid needs a base. Its’ thick, sweet, loaded with C4 & super-charged malt. Vanilla (probably from western Ecuador, it has the feels) accents the sweetness like a drum machine accents a good Wham! album (redundant, I know). War hammer of bourbon with just a bit of spicy rye comes next, with additions of dense maple syrup, Swiss chocolate, with very light oak on the finish. Oh, & there’s alcohol in this. I can sense it in my sensei.
This was a decent beer. OK, pretty good. OK, excellent. Possibly the definition of the barrel aged pastry stout, this is exquisite.

poured into a tulip glass via bottle
color is darker than midnight
smell is vanilla bean, maple syrup, rye barrel & a hint of caramel
taste is sweet maple syrup up front followed by the vanilla and rye barrel, which dries it out a bit. Some smokey flavor in there as well
carbonation is low and the mouthfeel is syrupy
a very tasty stout for sure..but worth the price tag?

Had on tap. This is a very decadent stout, feel the diabetes coming on off the first sip. That being said, if you are looking for a heavy, thick, viscous, rich, dessert stout, look no further. Thick black body with no head, brown edging. Smell starts bright and sweet with amazing maple and vanilla, but then opens up into the rye and bourbon barrels, complete with oak, amazing depth between all of these aromas. Taste has the same cast of characters, plus add some fudgey chocolate and brown sugar. Again, very sweet, but if you are in the mood for that, this is the one for you. The wife loved it
